Hey everyone!

So the rollout on the YONDER app is catching up to people having noticed it, so the wrinkles are getting smoothed out.

First off the region locking issue is nearly solved, the app will be accessible everywhere except Korea, China, Japan, Cuba, Georgia, Macao, and Sudan by the end of the month.

Second, as for the gift coins not being enough by people's count, there are two solutions. To begin, on the 31st the Guide will be added to the Daily Unlock program on YONDER, which means that it can all be accessed freely if you pace yourself. For those who want to go quicker, there's quite a few authors who got on YONDER and here's a list of those whose promo codes can be claimed:

EVIL - Practical Guide to Evil

KERDUKEY - Author Ker Dukey

WRAITHMKD - Wraithmarked Creative

BLDSTKS - Bold Strokes Books

BELLEBKS -

AETHON - Aethon Books

REALM - Realm Media

ABIGAIL - Author Abigail Barnette

EMMIE - Author Emmie Mears

GIGI - Author Gigi Templeton

RUBY - Author Ruby Dixon

HANYANG - Author Han Yang

RAGE - Author Alex Knight

BLKROSE - Black Rose Writing

READNOW - Author K.L. Hiers and other authors

JEZ - Author Jez Cajiao

All of these should expire on the 7th, so you've got some time still to claim them.

As for the more general announcement about the other projects I have going on with Webtoon - and in general the deal that was made with them - I am sadly still waiting for the permission to make an announcement, but there's been contact with the people who get to make that choice so it shouldn't be long now. I'll keep you posted.

Have a good one,

E.E.

Anyone know how to claim the free coins? I can't see anywhere in the Android app to do it.

I have no idea how this app works between coins and free passes and daily unlocks and all the rest. It feels like they're trying to loot box ebooks.

Hey there, Germany don’t seem to work yet :(

I really want to support you further, but this seems a bit extreme for my tastes. Correct me if I'm wrong somewhere along the way, but you have what, about 700 chapters...? Yonder cuts each chapter to two to five parts, let me be generous and say three on average. That's 2100 parts, each for 29 coins. Let's assume I wanna "own" each chapter and not just borrow it for limited time with some daily unlock or whatever corpo bamboozle. By my very generous assumptions, that's about 600 dollars for digital imprint in app we have no assurance will be there in a few years. I wish you the best and all the money you can grab, you deserve it, you really do. But isn't there some other way?

Qwertystop

Seconded; I'd have bought the series at usual market rates in print or digital, much as something this large would probably cost a large chunk, but "bought" is key; nickel-and-diming to this degree and not even getting something platform-independent out of it that I'd be able to read without an app that might not exist in a year is several steps too far. At this point it might even be cheaper to scrape, print, and ring-bind it myself than to go on Yonder for it, despite how wasteful that would be, and I'd get a better product out of that to boot.

Still can't get Yonder here in Ireland. Kind of a shame, I was hoping to see the changes in Book 1.

Yeah all expired now. I don't think I can support this business model. But before Netflix, there were other sources for content that was heavily paywalled, and I'm sure if this is a trend, those sources will grow in popularity again.
