Alright folks.

Cultivating Chaos is apparently live already in the eastern united states, and is heading west.

This is a Kindle Unlimited book, of course. I do love KU.

This book is officially... a go. Spread the word, spread the link, tell every group, push it to every platform. Let's show everyone a western Wuxia with an ACTUAL Harem.

Post it everywhere, and leave your honest reviews. Lol.

With that being said, it's probably time for some more details now about "VeilVerse". Blaise and I have been pretty mum about the whole thing.

So... what is "VeilVerse".

VeilVerse is a shared universe. The two books in it, Asgard Awakening, and Cultivating Chaos, are not "Book 1 and Book 2". They're separate stories occurring at the same time, in the same universe.

This project was made in such a way, that it can have as many authors as Blaise and I invite in to write, or as few as we wish to allow.

If you'd like a comparable example of something similar to a degree? Dragonlance. :)

And so here we are. The VeilVerse is live and moving.

Thank you for the heads up. Will look on audible.

WilliamDArand

Audiobook is already done and loaded. Audible just has to put it up. Andrea Parsneau did it.

Tido

Indiana still nothing here :)

Austin Tan

Is Blaise gonna have a harem theme to his?

Solusandra

So, umm...what is asguard awakening? Can't find it by google, bing or searching here. Got a link? And I'm assuming this isn't related to your otherlife universe, and most of your books being on a server thing, but is another authors thing?

WilliamDArand

This is a new universe. the VeilVerse. Asgard Awakening is a book written by Blaise Corvin that will be out in the next several dayus.

Solusandra

Ah, I see. If you don't mind, post me a link when it does, I'll check them both out.

Phallusar

Almost 1:00 am MDT, no book in sight >_>

DJ Johnson

....Did you just imply you and blaise gonna add more authors to the veilverse?! ;D Sorry i locked into that text sounds awesome!

Austin Tan

So is harem theme required for the Veilverse bandwagon? :D

Rafnar Caldon

Thank you for this. I'm only on chapter 7 so far but I'm liking the edits so far. On a side not did you know that Dragons of Autumn Twilight was Tracy Hickman and Margaret Weis' first book when TSR was first trying to write the dragonlance books for their new campaign setting they had problems with authors they had tried to contract to write them so instead Tracy and Margaret wrote it in house.

Seto Kyba

I called audible and they said they do not see it either.

WilliamDArand

Sorry duder. As soon as Audible puts it up, I'll update the post. Until they do, not much I can do

Zac James

Already loving it, didn't get a chance at reading it most of the day but so far so good.

WilliamDArand

Glad to hear it. Be sure to drop a review if you still enjoy it by the end. Reviews matter so much =/

Zac James

I have been waiting since you posted that first chapter for the rest of this one, no doubt I'll be leaving a review 👍

Artman

Just finished it, so book two?

Robert Hammack

great job of doing a "western wuxia" really enjoyed it, left review on Amazon 5 stars. BTW, I noticed it's already #1 Best Seller in Romantic Action & Adventure. really? "Romantic Action & Adventure"? while not completely inaccurate, I typically filter for sci-fi and fantasy, and that seems to be more appropriate. EDIT: I just went and checked, and it's #7 in fantasy, while "Romantic Action & Adventure" has WAY more fantasy and sci-fi than I expected. *Marketing blows my mind* https://smile.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R1WJEBRNR53E7Q/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B07KFLSC27

WilliamDArand

Greatly appreciated. Glad you enjoyed it. I tried desperately to get a Wuxia feel without... being a Wuxia, honestly. Wuxia MC's are rather dull and all the same anymore

Robert Hammack

well, I think you did a really good job. and I've read a LOT of wuxia. it often takes me a lot longer to read something then it should, because when I come across things that interest me or I'm unfamiliar with, I tend to go of on a sometimes multi-hour google session. I've learned a lot that way, lol.
