Kevin Clark

Warner is Mitch from II2.

Joshua Graybill

The DA was a Bogey, do we really think that will just be a throw away?

Phallusar

The vigilantes Warner killed sounds like the ones sponsored by Inc-Suc, doesn't match up.

Tanner Lovelace

And the Aunt is Decima. The exact quote he attributes to her was said in Inc Inc 2.

GooseProductionWrites

I didn't make the connection Warner was Mitch...#mindblown! What was the quote?

GooseProductionWrites

I so want to see a team up with Gus and crew. I'm thinking that's how he (hopefully) wins Althea back since both she and Gus are PID. Gus would convince her Warner's right since she doesn't seem to accept the authority of freakin RETRIBUTION

GooseProductionWrites

Another way for Gus to come into the picture. I imagine any being powerful enough to school a Bogey would need to be on Gus's radar

PatronTurtle

SS specifically ran into the Boogey assassin and she mentioned others but we never see them. This may be how we find out more

Bruce Ewing

Something like "preparation isn't paranoia if it isn't unreasonable."

Bruce Ewing

I thought it was amusing that all the girls were blondes EXCEPT the valkyrie. Also amusing that Maddie is the very first in the inner circle who is technically non-human. This book really needed one more serious editing pass, though -- there were a bazillion proofreading errors in it. Love Daria/Tarja -- she and Melody are definitely the two best characters so far out of all the books.

Bruce Ewing

The DA and Travis the Crooked Cop, both. And the DA certainly knew Travis was another bogey, which was why the DA was looking out for Travis specifically. The even more interesting question to me is whether the DA was actually part of the same cabal, or whether he was related to Travis.

Joel Magnuson

Sadly Arand is probably going to kill her off. She is too beloved by fans and has a powerful cheat ability, he has already warned us about it. My only hope is she may have the hope to be resurrected again like Nadine from Otherlife Hero or Petra from Wild Wastes.

Bruce Ewing

Yeah, well, I disagree with your theory. Not a good way to sell books.

Bsreads

I mean he usually kills at least one main lady in each story doesn't the one with clarvoyance seem like the best one to kill off.

Phallusar

Ah yes, babies aren't characters

Brandon Pio

True, sometimes you just teleport them into another reality/world.....suddenly feeling anxious about Cultivating Chaos XD

Drew Risch

Wait shit who’s Mitch again?

Drew Risch

Gus is/was a fed now, and I think at the end of the last one he and his wives were going to hiding?

Drew Risch

YER DAMN RIGHT DARIA IS THE BEST

Drew Risch

Technically anyone under 18 isn’t a person according to US law, so... yup!

GooseProductionWrites

Mark's plugged into everything, though. And since these books are happening simultaneously there could be some overlap

J B

How the Hellas do you make that up of deduction?

James Breaux

So in SS1 at the stadium they say the the room that Warner killed everyone in was empty before everything went to hell. Warner was in there right as masks started breaking.

LoC

The exact quote is, “It’s only paranoia, if it’s unreasonable. Otherwise it’s caution.” Which is the exact same phrase from Decima. So ya Warner is Mitch, Mitch is Warner. Which is also why everyone and their mother wanted him in Incubus 2. Not sure where the name Mitch came from or went.. middle name? Also anyone else just fucking hate Patreon’s stupid app? Dumb commenting/replying shit.

LoC

Gus and fam are working for Kit and Lillian at the end off SS2, at least that’s where it’s heading. I’m sure Althea will find a way back to Warner or vice versa. He needs her if he’s going to live, right? According to Maya and her weird death dream she had when Patten hit her with the car.

Dennis Erwin

Damn... I totally missed that, and I KNEW the whole 'both parents died suddenly in their sleep out of nowhere' was bugging me. It's established he's an Archangel / Celestial, but we still don't know where he came from. Would that make Maya a Nephilim?

Dennis Erwin

Dammit, William, keep your wife slaughtering to Remnant where it belongs!!

Drew Risch

Oh THAT Mitch?! Holy shit! Damn!

J B

Given the multiple boogeys fighting for the wreck the world/reveal magic to the mundane side in Second Shift (and possibly in IncInc),I think there's gonna be some interesting reveals in some upcoming books. I wonder if Jena is the head of this crap, if she's a duped pawn, or if it's coincidence. I kinda really doubt coincidence - it's Arand.

Dennis Palsson

is he the kid with the golem parents? the one that had to be protected?

Nicholas Donovan

You sure, Mitch is Warner? If he is using the widest age brackets we can he would be between 28-31 if you use the average ages of middle schoolers, and add the 16-17 year time gap between Inc Inc2 and swing shift2. I don’t believe we were ever told what grade, or age Mitch is, so he would be between 11-14 in middle school, the time gap is based off of Alexander’s age in Swing shift 2 at sixteen, add the wiggle room for the extra nineish months and you would get the theoretical age of Mitch if he was Warner, and from his own words Maya is about thirteen, which would mean that Warner had Maya with Asa somewhere between 15-18 years old.

WilliamDArand

This is why I never give ages or hard dates. So you can't prove it is, or isn't, true.

Skoll

There are some characters that I wish you would kill though haha

Bruce Ewing

Just had a thought the other day. Now that Warner has healing powers and doesn't need to hide from Maya anymore, I'm gonna expect him to finish healing her up quick at the beginning of the next book. It wouldn't make sense otherwise.
