Hey folks, I have a request.

When you go to read the book when it drops, please do me a favor?

If you're using Amazon Prime to read it, and you read from where you left off at, I know that's what I'd do, but then do me a favor? Go re-read the previous bits you've already read on Patreon. Or read the whole book from the start to begin with? :D

If you do that, Amazon will pay me for the full read through of the book.

If you start at the end, or late in the book, Amazon refuses to pay me a single cent for your entire read through.

Then they send me nasty emails accusing me of trying to steal money from them. (No joke)

I'm assuming you're talking about when reading with Kindle unlimited. When I buy your books you get that money correct? Because if not I need to go back do some of your more recent books that I haven't gotten around to yet.

Jeez. Wish I’d have known that sooner. I’d have made sure to do it. I figured you got paid for what I read no matter what. Or at least that is what Amazon leads you to believe.

That's right, Kindle Unlimited. If you buy the book outright, I get the full amount immediately. :)

This is my first time reading ahead on Patreon. I was not aware of Amazon's fuckery. I actually listened it to the audio, so I'll definitely be starting from the beginning upon purchase.

Unfortunately not. Best I can hope for is you read it on KU, then buy the book a calendar month later. Then I get paid twice. If you do both in the same month, they only pay me once. Because Amazon :D

Good to know about the month delay. I usually read on Kindle Unlimited since I’m a subscriber then I buy the books I really like. Which just so happens to be all your books. I doubt I wait a month though as I usually buy as soon as I finish the KU read.

Yeah. It's calendar month. So like January 27th, February 1st.

Mostly i read on here then ku then buy the book later as i like to reread a full series just to refresh my memory as if you read a book a day or a week time lines and storys get mixed up. I do have a few quthors that i reread a lot some are usa uk but a few exrussians and exukrains a rare gem should be polished .
