Keyer & CHRYSTEL Game - get involved (Patreon)

What ideas would you like to see in this Keyer & CHRYSTEL retro style platform game?
Anything at all.

For example:
How do I get DiD into it?  
What power ups could I have?
How should Anna/CHRYSTEL attack?  (Was thinking a heel stomp for Anna as one idea)
Ideas for bad guys, end of level bosses etc.  
Level ideas.  (I'm thinking basing some levels on the comics with bosses to suit)
Any special outfits you'd like to see them in?

All those kind of things.  Will include shout outs in the game credits to all those who get involved :)

One way you could put DID into the game could be as a state when the player character gets her health to 0 (if you’re using a health system) or takes enough hits (if you go with that) the character is knocked out or captured, and wakes up in a prison section of each level, tied up and gagged. They are then forced to try and get themselves free, and if they get caught again before they can do so, you either lose a life or get a game over and get sent back to a checkpoint. As for a power up, maybe a screen clearing calling of “Big Bro” who will take out any enemies or obstacles in your way. Or maybe even be able to use it to free yourself instantly in the situation above.

Incorporating DID in gameplay is always tricky. Do you use it as a sort of health or life system, where you get tied up if you run out of health, or gradually get tied up when you lose health? Does it restrict your movement or attacks in any way? How do you recover from it? Etc. Another way you could go is to have scripted moments were you get caught and have to escape. This could lead to platforming challenges that are specifically designed around your movement being restricted. Attacks are a bit difficult to imagine, seeing how we've never really seen either of our heroines fight. A heel stomp makes sense, but it sounds like it would have very poor range and wouldn't be much fun to use. Maybe Anna can stun enemies with a camera flash? Maybe the duo can use some simple gadgets or projectiles, and can find ammo pickups along the way? I'm also wondering how you plan on using the two characters. Do we simply choose one at the start of a level? Can we switch between them during gameplay? Do they play differently or is it just cosmetic? So many ways you can go with this. I agree with Ryan that Big Bro should be in the game somehow, but I'm not quite sure how. Anna always makes sure no one but her and CHRYSTEL can see Big Bro. If you want to stay faithful to that, using him in combat seems like a no-go. Anna usually summons him to help her or CHRYSTEL escape, but just having him as an 'untie' button seems kind of dull (big bro OP plz nerf).
