Klarrie and the orc mercenary (Patreon)

After Lizzie talked about a recent deal with orc brewers a few nights ago, she bolstered about the money she got reselling her supply at an exorbitant (almost criminal) price to other taverns. The goblin was all talk until Klarrie noticed how she couldn't walk straight the days after the encounter, however.

When Klarrie tried to probe the reason, Lizzie was always dismissive. She told she got the green ale besting the two orcs on a card game, but that couldn't be true... she was the worst gambler she ever know and no way in hell she could get that product in a legitimate way (as legitimate gambling may be).

That naturally lead Klarrie to the second possibility: Lizzie spend a night with the orcs and got their supply while they were sleeping - possibly getting another scam in her curriculum (also called "criminal record").

However, Klarrie wasn't trying to get the bounty out of Lizzie's crimes (this time at least). She was way more interested in the orc part of the deal.

That's why she went looking for a famous orc bounty hunter who frequented one of the taverns of Portorocco. That place you could find all kinds of people but an orc sticks out in the crowd easily and getting them into a room was even easier!

What was her thought process getting into this? Perhaps she wanted to best Lizzie, trying to prove she could take an orc as well (not two at the same time, but she could use this one to train for the next time she got the chance). Maybe it was curiosity as well? She never spend a night with an orc before...

Well... after that night she would learn why Lizzie seemed so exhausted, looking tired for a few days before recovering.
