Recorded on Feb 1st & 2nd when it was still very chilly, this was my first full weekend spent aboard the boat and only my second visit since purchase. As you can imagine, I had lots of things to sort out from a new propane cylinder to new mooring lines and many other miscellaneous jobs.

With any luck, those lights are held up, by a spring system at the back. If it is a spring system, then the springs are likely to be strong enough for it to feel like there is NO gap to insert anything into around the brass cover. But a spatula (or scraper of sorts) might be thin enough so you can get a good grip, between the cover and the ceiling. I have found this item, to illustrate how the spring might hold up the entire lamp. https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Factory-Promotion-Price-20w-24w-30w_1601250822298.html If it IS a spring system, it should be very possible to get the spatula (or scraper) to go in between the lamp cover and the ceiling, without using too much force. Once this has however been established, then some higher level of force may however be needed, in order to pull the fitting out.

Can’t help with the unscrewing of lights but I will bolster your stance on cheaper beaked beans. Never understood the mindless fascination with Heinz unless we compare them to Branstons, then all is forgiven Heinz and your ridiculous cost.

Fortunately I have since discovered how to get the lights off! It's surprising how many folk agree on the beans! 🤣 Oh, and welcome to Patreon 😀😀😀
