Merry Christmas, lovely Patrons (Patreon)

Hello!

There'll be a very quick video up on the channel tomorrow morning (Christmas day morning, UK time) saying "merry christmas and thanks for tuning in" etc but of course, I want to compose a few words here for you, as a Patron.

I've always pitched this, for my channel, as a way of sending a cup of tea my way (or maybe a G&T!) if you happen to like the videos. A virtual "tip jar" if you like.

But while the cash is certainly useful and appreciated, the icing on the cake really is just the knowledge that there are people who want to send a tip because doing so means you really do enjoy what I'm creating.

That intangible support of my mind goes beyond anything fiscal and props me up on the occasions when I'm feeling weary.

Thus I would like to reiterate here my very deep gratitude to all my Patrons for your support, I wish you a happy Christmas (if you celebrate Christmas) and a great 2020 regardless.

PS I'm pondering some kind of Patrons-only meetup next year - probably in the summer and probably in Birmingham (UK) as that's handy for me - would anyone be interested in this?
