and how about 10 minutes from the sony in 'real' time with no commentary, so we can get a feel of the environment on a canal??

Mmmm, I forgot to mention it on this video but I also have a plan to bring out the old camcorder I used to use, and prop that in the well deck so I'll have three lots of footage to cut from; should make for some nice cruising footage!

I'd love a video on the top-10 must-haves on a narrowboat. It's such a completely different way of living that I love hearing about everything that's done differently. And as mentioned by others; just footage from the canals is worth the patreon contribution. Just raw footage with the gentle chugging of the diesel engine in the background. It's Zen, you know...

Hi Vincent. On reflection the top 10 was scraping the barrel a bit but I might resurrect the video as a top 5; it was largely not very serious. I'd love to bring you more cruising footage but alas with the weather being so poor (rain/wind/cold) I just won't be doing any of that until I move again, although if I get a nice sunny day or two there might be a quick chug somewhere I suppose! It should look better now I have the action cam - and I plan to also stick my previous video camera in the well deck so I can cut to shots from that too. Cheers
