Fascinating ... I didn't realise there was that many people involved this kind of boat sharing ... Certainly a great way to get a taster session of life on the water!

Yes, a sort of "in between" way if you want to do more than just hire once or twice but won't be able to use a boat enough to justify full ownership. Not for everyone but there's definitely a niche.
