Cheeky Weekly #3 - TSC Overhaul Continues | Sketch Requests (Patreon)
Content
Hey again!
We've had a very very busy week over here at Cheeky Nuttybuns Incorporated (TM), but we only got a few tidbits we can really share here!
The Seeding Curse Overhaul
Still working on the chapter by chapter overhaul, although this week we've also been doing some more general clean up on a lot of old code. Firstly, some additional rewrites to the Daberos Ladies date to make it feel a bit more dramatic and mysterious, with a bit of new dialogue here and there as well, to help round out the scene. We've also done some work on the character sprites and the way emotes appear, hopefully making things a bit more consistent in that department.
What you may be more excited about however, is that we're revamping several of the pregnancy test sprites, as well as adding new illustrations to be used in animatic sequences! You can much more clearly see Leena's embarrassed expression now, and play with the girls a lot more dynamically!
By the way babes, don't forget to bounce over to Itch and give the game a good rating! That really helps us out, especially considering our entire marketing budget is pretty much just half a candy bar for Princess every month...
Bluesky Sketches
Aside from the game, Cheeky offered to do some Sketch Requests over on Bluesky, and we think they turned out really nice! We got three cuties: Dr. Veronica from Rampage, Cheetarah from Thundercats, and Mii from Jungle de Ikkou!
For some reason, whoever requested Veronica seems to have deleted their comment, so it took us some serious searching to find her name! She only appeared in the first game, and much as the Rampage wiki says (very neutrally), 'the fans' really liked her sexy scientist appeal and are hoping she'll come back in future games
Extras!
A big supporter in the sketch request tier who goes by Lithgrogs, often will do coloring edits of their requests and try different styles for them, but the other day they shared in our discord server some fun edits they did with some of the TSC art. They basically made a fake game-port of the TSC to a portable retro game console. We thought we'd share them with you!
Thanks for reading, and see you all next week!
