I just think y'all are getting a little bit ahead of yourselves. If I follow your planned update schedule correctly, a lot of these are scheduled to be in updates following Version 1.0.1, which has been delayed past its original release date, supposedly to perform a variety of fixes, which stalled at Version 1.0.0.4 and has remained there for a few months now, while development on dragons that aren't scheduled to be released anytime soon, if ever, seems to be taking priority over the fixes leading up to 1.0.1. How can you even be sure that you won't have to make changes after the fact when the fixes and version updates start coming through again?

This short-sighted complaint—very common in indie game development, which are almost always made by small, "slow" teams—assumes everyone on the dev team can do everyone else's job, thus implying that no one should be doing anything except "fixes." This is simply incorrect—coding is different from art, is different from animation; not everyone is going to be a jack of all trades. Should we expect a random car mechanic to be able to repair computers as well, or do we understand that mechanical is different from electrical, and that the computer in a car is similar to but not exactly like the computer in a home? I agree that it's frustrating to see development happening on stuff that isn't going to be playable for a long time yet, but that's still better than seeing nothing posted, leaving us to wonder whether the game has been abandoned and our money's been stolen and the accusations of "it's a scam" are real. Because how many of us are actually going to be titillated by a story of how game bug #352 was squashed, how it gave rise to game bugs #352-A, #352-B, and #352-C, and how each of those was squashed in turn? Ultimately, there is no reason to prevent those on the dev team who can't do "fixes" (which may be all but one or two people) from moving ahead with work they CAN do—it keeps them busy and should, ideally, make future updates a little faster.

Melanistic is already permanently unlockable for each species. Leucistic and lumelan are breedable, as is the crimson, so there's no reason to want them just for the sake of spawning as those colors, at the expense of being stuck with mediocre stats.

I love the idea of dragons matching their biome, and the snowy redwoods were my favorite map when the game first released. If you ever want to make an adjustment to the Frost Wyvern's skins, you could allow their skin to be glazed in a layer of snow/frost when in a snowy biome, as well as the ability to potentially cover your fellow Frosties in ice - not harming their already cold scales, and instead just camouflaging them if it isnt actively snowing or if temperature needs are ever introduced to the game. Of course, this could be true for other species and models as well, like how snow piles up on the ground. Blending in is important for all species, and a little extra camo wouldn't hurt. The crimson is meant to be exclusive and cosmetic, which is good to stand out, and it's a choice to be such a striking color even if you can't unequip it. Good work on that model though, and don't be afraid to add subtle hue shifts on any future skins, they work well to make a dragon seem more like a living beast than a perfect decoration.
