New Singe Crest Skin Patterns (Patreon)

In this post we're showcasing 3 new Skin patterns coming in Update 1.4 (The Singe Crest Update). These skins each have their own unique pattern but are all using the same color palette. The actual base skin colors which will provide unique color swatches for skin crafting are still a work in progress, but the patterns themselves of the new skins are being shown today.

Pictured above are 3 new Skin Patterns which will become 3 new Uncommon/Rare spawn skins for the Singe Crest, each providing a unique pattern and color swatches for player skin crafting.

For those of you who do not know, the way skin crafting will work in Update 1.3 and beyond, each spawn skin, whether common, uncommon, or rare will provide a unique skin pattern and unique color swatches that are inherited by the offspring. The player who takes the egg will then be given a skin crafting UI that shows what patterns and swatches they have inherited from their parents available to them to use for skin crafting their own unique skin. Non-spawnable skins may also provide a skin swatch or a unique breedable pattern. For instance, the Crimson Skin will provide a Crimson color swatch, and the Sandslayer skin will provide a Sandslayer pattern that can be colored with swatches.

The new Skin Crafting system will be awesome and will be better than it ever was in Legacy, giving players the ability to make a large assortment of skins with colors and patterns that are inherited from their ancestors.
