While it is suuuuuuper cuuuuuute :> ... Usually, animals only sleep on their back when they feel extremely safe. I do not think this behavior is often observed in the wild, if at all. It also feels more like playing dead than asleep right now :x

I do love the variety you guys seem to be aiming for between the dragons animations! But I agree with the other comment, it doesn't seem quite natural. It might be a bit better if he was stretched out on his side? When limbs and tails are in the air like that it doesn't feel like the animal is asleep, since you need tense your muscles to fight gravity.

I think this would be a SUPER cute emote if you added a wiggle!

EQ Flash

I think if the limbs were more sprawled out vs straight in the air it would be and feel more natural. Like if one half was on the ground and the other was in a half erect pose i think it would bring the satisfaction of still sleeping on its back while also looking and feeling normal. cute idea tho just looks weird in its current state

The Timekeeper

Agree. I actually do like this animation a lot, but since the mimikor is like the biolumer in that it's more or less a helpless vanity dragon in a ruthless world, there's a sort of perception conflict between the animation's idea of "carefree historian relaxing in a library cave" (which would be nicely enhanced by the suggestions of a wiggle [Jessica C.] and/or upside-down sprawl [EQ Flash]) and the more wary "Indiana Jones/Lara Croft" mood that would be more suitable for virtually any amount of progressive gameplay (EQ Flash's "half sphinx" pose suggestion matches better). This animation feels more like something that should be in an emote pack, or maybe even used as a courtship action (with the wiggle and sprawl, and maybe a gentle pawing/batting at the prospective mate).
