Towering over the Lava Lands, the Molten Mountain acts as a beacon of both hope and dread for all that still live here. All fire dragons know of the Molten Mountain, it is the ancient dwelling of Jrakhon himself and later the Queen of the fire behemoths, until it erupted and scorched what was once a thriving ecosystem of abundant life. Lush green forests, the mighty Roaring River, and most wildlife, are all gone. What remains in these lands are ash, embers, and the rocks who all bear the scars of the volcano's fury. For fire breathers, this is still the best habitat to hatch their young as fire eggs require a lot of heat to hatch, however, food in these lands is scarce, and water even more so. Non-fire dragons would find it very difficult to live here as they are not adapted to such a harsh environment, but fire breathers thrive as they need little water and get by on what food still remains primarily volcanic mushrooms and Thornback Crawlers.

The threat of another eruption is not what brings dread to what lives here, but whispers of what ancient creatures may lie buried beneath the ash, and yet, that also is what gives the Fire Dragons hope.

Ashen Pookie?

So does that mean certain interactions are unlikely to happen, such as a shadowscale fighting a flamestalker-?

Alexander Eriksson

not really since the shadowscale is the primary prey for the flamestalker

OrganicMeat94

Lol since when? Have you seen the shadow scale in the flame stalkers heat sense?. It looks near invisible, With almost no body heat.

Insane Firefly

i guess they said that once that the shadowscale is the primary pray for the flamestalker :) so Alex is right
