I like them all, but I think B looks the prettiest. Seems more like a tropical fish!

Lusewing

I really love all three. Maybe you could find diffrent variaties in diffrent areas. A - Closer to the shore, maybe smaller B - Tropical warm waters C - Cold waters

Zehelas

All are good! But I favor the first the most.

Im in love with the realistic look of Design C, however I think Design B would be easier to spot/find xD

Creelus

C 👍🏾

They are all so PRETTY! I guess it depends upon what environment the fish live in A fire a fish that lives between the ocean and river, B for tropical reefs, c for a kelp forest perhaps? Many large open ocean fish are grey, black, or dark blue.

Papillon Petit

I really like A, mostly because I like the salmon concept

The Timekeeper

All. Use them all. As others have said, perhaps divide the color palettes based on location. Size would also be location-based (e.g., if A were a freshwater species, it would be smaller; if C were a deep-sea species, it would be bigger; B could fall somewhere in the middle). Speed could be determined by color and location as well; say, if A were freshwater, it would be a medium speed because of its confined area but dark colors (i.e., nowhere to run, so it has to be able to dart, but can't be too fast since it would be it harder to see), while if C were deep-sea, it would have to be slow because it would have essentially unlimited range but be harder to see. B could be the fastest—far too fast for a hatchling and maybe for a juvenile, but not an adult. This would kind of mean that only A would be viable prey for a lone hatchling/juvenile, but there are other food options and parents/adoptions to help with that.

Definitely B and C, the coloration reminds me of real life camouflage seen in sharks! Light underbelly to help them blend in with the sky from below, and a dark dorsal to help them blend in with dark waters from above!

Camlan

A and B. Maybe the salmon colored one in the colder areas, and the topically colored one in the warmer?
