In this video we are showing the test animation for the Bio rig. This test animation checks range of motion and will be used with a new method we are testing for our seamless dynamic growth system to give us better control and range of motion over hatchie/juvie animations for all dragons.

Here we test the Bio Dragon Rig for a final check before starting the animation set.

Ha ha, the design of the wings being so different from everything else so far is giving me pterosaur vibes. It'll be interesting to see in game! Since this is testing ROM, I assume the degree of lateral movement in the tail will be toned down for the final animation? It feels like a tail as bulky as the bio's would make forward locomotion, especially flight, very difficult if that degree of movement were retained. On a separate but related topic, with all this bio activity I've been thinking about the growth of the littler dragons. Seeing as they're more vulnerable, would they be able to fly from hatching (or, say, only halfway through the hatchling phase, after they've theoretically built up muscle practicing)? Or is it just that they'll grow to adulthood in such a short time that it won't matter if they have to wait until juvie like the other dragons? I'm not expecting an immediate answer, just tossing a thought out for consideration.
