We've narrowed down the head/fin shapes and pattern. Now its time to pinpoint the coloration and add horns.Which are your favorites?

I like the horns on d9 and d12, I think maybe 2 default skins of purple and blue base for d9 would look nice.

I love D9 most overall. Those horn designs give the Tidal Shock the perfect aquatic look while looking unique enough from the other dragons. And the dark purple/navy compliments the bright electric blue of the base really well.

I am really liking D10 and D12. Maybe the different horn/head adornment types could be a form of dimorphism between male and female. That would be interesting.

You could also have them change colour to darker purple if they are deeper underwater (sunlight won’t reach to far underwater)

For the horns, I like the antlers on D7, D10, the gentle spiral/twist on D3, and the frills/tendrils on D9/D12. I feel like for the Asian dragon theme, antlers like D7/D10 probably fit best, if not a more simple two- or three-prong horn style. But D9/D12 have a nice flowy look that works well with the water theme, and I just plain like the soft D3 spiral. For the pattern/color, I favor the more contrast-oriented D10 or the solid/pattern-free D1, while bearing in mind that there will be several different skins for colors. It could be interesting to have a more solid/soft shaded body with patterned fins, or vice versa, similar to some fish.

For me, its between D1, D2, D3, and D4. The antlers are creative, but they don't make sense to be on an aquatic creature. It feels unnatural; you don't see that in nature, fish and aquatic mammals don't have that. When it comes to creatures that mainly inhabit water, you have to take into account how their hydrodynamics work, and antlers would be a hinderance to swimming speed, which is crucial for underwater predators.

As for how the design compliments the "Asian Lung" build for this dragon; Each one of these designs has been seen in ancient folklore and mythology, so you hit the nail right on the head! The story of the Four Dragons and the Jade Emperor come to mind in particular.

oooo i cant wait for a unique underwater biome. just imagine underwater clans controlling different areas of coral and these guys and the singe crests living in harmony, like the singe crests heal them if they need to be healed and they give the singe crests fish or whatever food is available.

Is it just me or does the asd swimming does not feel good, if I want to go up I have to hold it down and it feels so choppy same for down. I hope this is not the case for the water drakes and I hope that it will be changed into something a lot more smoother, this is just my opinion.
