This feels genuinely insane to type out on the patreon of a podcast called Are You Garbage, but nonetheless…. Bug man, I’m proud of you. A while ago the incompatibilities with the woman I truly thought I’d marry became too evident to ignore. The split ripped me open, but with distance and time you can see how many things didn’t work, stressed you out, piqued anxiety, hindered forward progress etc. When you have love it can feel so incredible but as someone who also holds on too tight, letting go is what brings the clarity. Whatever happens you’ll be better for it, and the same to anyone in a similar situation❤️ I’ll see yall in AC homies!

Uncle Hank’s seen too many movies and read too much poetry. It’s ok to be broken and down in the dumps, temporarily. A redeeming story arc only works when you’ve actually done the work to redeem yourself. Right now it feels like you’re romanticizing the low point instead of moving through it. Pain isn’t the personality, growth is what makes the story worth telling.
