Took a pack of Marlboro reds to the eye 30 years ago while having a spirited debate over many drinks. Woke up the next day writhing in pain. Went to the eye doctor and had a torn cornea. Got the steroid drops and felt great. Doc said that’s wearing off soon and then proceeded to take what looked like a dental pick and peeled off the torn layer. Eye injuries are a whole other ballgame. Sat in the dark for 2 days with a patch on and just wanted to die
