This video (which is part 3) covers the phrase in the final section of the Sakura Custom Variation. It includes Oshibachi technique that you have learned in the preparation lesson of the song. To move your finger to hold Tsubo with the proper timing or to strike Bachi properly, please practice the Oshibachi again and again. Also, please pay attention and try to master the challenging quick left hand movement.

Vocabulary List

Tuning - to adjust the pitch of the Shamisen

Niagari - the tuning with the first string in C, the second string in G, and the third string in C

Tataki - to strike a string and shamisen body with bachi to produce sound

Hajiki - to pull off a string with index/ring finger of your string-hand to produce sound

Oshibachi - to slide/push bachi across two strings next to each other, for example from the 1st to 2nd string or the 2nd to 3rd string to produce sound

Uchi - to produce sound through striking the string with left hand fingers

調弦 - 三味線の音程を調整すること

二上り - 一の糸をドにしたときに、二の糸がソ、三の糸がドになる調弦

叩き（たたき） - バチで糸と皮を叩くようにして音を出すこと

はじき - 左手の人差し指や薬指でで糸を弾いて音を出すこと

推し撥 （おしばち） - １の糸から２の糸、または２の糸から３の糸というように、隣り合わせいる糸から糸へバチをスライドさせて音を出すこと

うち - 左手の指で糸を打つことで音を出す奏法
