Oh boy, this is going to end 1 of 2 ways when Andy realizes it's Coop, and each will be extreme!¡! Imo, his reasoning will be to keep Coop to himself as much as he can whiles he's there. Vs just paying to have his way with him, because as you said he can get that for free at home. Unless he does it in order to FORCE Coop to do shit he wouldn't normally do. If that's the case, he's a very terrible person.

That would be very dark. Then again, I feel Andy’s only going to be able to break through his BS fully if he fully realizes what his dark side is like. To me, it feels like he can be even more of a jerk than Cooper’s been in the past. Because he always tries to come off as nice and proper, even when he’s being self-righteous.

Ok I see where this is going and I love it. There's a couple different ways this could happen but that sticker is going to force Cooper to reveal his identity. 1. Andy could spend top dollar and corner Cooper in the private room. 2. Someone else buys the room and invites Andy to join. 3. Andy could confront Cooper and threaten to use the sticker to force the issue. Also I see the potential for us to get a sex scene between Andy and Coop in a private room. 😍

Hmm. I originally thought it’d be Coop revealing himself after this is over, but I sense that’s not going to happen, isn’t it? And then there’s going to be River’s end when Mark sees them. Wild guess for how that may go: 1) Mark gives River the flowers he bought earlier and they flirt with him, leading to 2), Mark books River for a private show, and 3) they have sex in a private room, and that’s when they decide to start dating. Maybe.

Can you blame him with how Coop has treated him over the past 15yrs though? Coop hasn't exactly been a saint, and Dee has put up with him through pretty much everything. I've never witnessed anyone send such incredibly well mixed signals it's incredible that Dee has put up with it for as long as he has. I get Dee has said he loves Coop then kinda took it back, but I'd most likely done the same. He's so afraid of saying anything of the sort to him for fear of it triggering something in him, making him snap. As what causes that seems to change more often than he changes his underwear, so it's impossible to have a list of "shit that turns Coop into a prick." LOL.

it’s truly incredible seeing this page and thinking back on how Cooper was in the past. i’m sure they wouldn’t recognize each other if they met. love this for him, i hope he doesn’t have a freak out now that everything actually *real*.

Not to excuse any of Cooper’s mistakes or BS, but Andy’s not necessarily blameless in things either. Look at how fast he turned to doubt when he first met River. Or how fast he turned to doubt on seeing Coop’s Rail promo. It feels like Andy can be triggered really easily himself by surprises. He even mentioned back in one of the backstory volumes that he’s afraid of change. As for what causes Cooper to snap or panic, I feel it’d be easier to track that than for Andy. Even now, I feel like more has been given to describe Cooper’s character than Andy. More moments of introspection and the like. If it feels like I’m being biased for Coop over Andy, I’m sorry. I’m trying to make sure not to be. It’s just that feels like after all the shit Cooper’s had to endure and all the change he’s had to undergo, I feel confident that he’ll be fine. Which leaves my reservations about Andy.

Will Cooper screw it up? Will he be up to the task? Will he keep it up when Andy will 1000000000% pay the extra dollars to have a private performance from him? Only time will tell. I really like how supportive River is though. I feel like they don't have to be anymore, they're in already, if Cooper screwed up he'd be kicked out but they're in now and they're valuable asset already. Yet they're still helping and comforting him, encouraging him to put up the best of himself for the role they're in now. "In bocca al lupo", to both of them.

I didn't get any bias out of that. TBH, I REALLY identify with Coop, except for the stripper part 😄. My thinking is though, Cooper should be using Andy to help deal with all that shit. Instead he constantly fucks with him, intentional or otherwise. I think they both need to just lay all their cards on the table to each other, allowing them to help each other work through them. The Andy/River thing mirrors the Coop/Emery/Himself issues. Andy is jealous of River because he has low self-esteem/insecure. Coop is jealous of Emery, again due to low self-esteem/insecurities. He literally said Andy has a thing for ugly guys and looking like his dad upsets him a lot. Though, Andy did admit to Coop about his insecurities and jealousy and apologized for the way he acted. That's HUGE!¡!¡ And yes, Cooper did accept the apology and did the best thing by saying he doesn't want him to change, he loves him because of who he is, then said he NEEDS HIM to be himself. I don't think there is anything that could've been said there that would've been better. Short of being a great time for Cooper to come clean about why he's been like this for the past 15yrs. Andy is frustrated because it's clearly obvious Cooper loves him, but he always comes up just short of admitting it to him. Instead, they get intimate, then Coop panics and runs away from his feelings. That really fucked Andy up, as for the longest time he blamed himself, which made him go looking for dick, ending up letting his bosses use him as a chew toy.

Coop needs to accept who he is. He's not his father, he never will be. There are people who genuinely care about, him but he's too scared to get close to anyone especially another guy who's also a friend. I'm curious where his fear of being gay comes from? His dad didn't say anything when Coop told him the kids at camp called Andy a sissy and said he's gay. Yeah I'm not excusing getting physical abuse, but I just don't get where the homophobia stems.

Well, this is a lot to take in. Hmm. The homophobia part - Coop’s dad tried to teach him that being gay is wrong and rewarded him for it, and a big part of his character growth was breaking free from that. From what he was taught in the past. I’d say Cooper’s almost completely accepted himself. I feel the last steps needed there are for him to admit about his job and openly admit he’s into guys. (In which case, I sense that River, Chelsea, Gary, and Jenn hiding about that will backfire on them, but I think Coop will be fine despite that.). Cooper being jealous of Emery, I never really got that sense. He doesn’t even know him, for starters. I think, if Andy introduced Coop to Emery, they’d get along. And Emery would be quite surprised by Coop’s growth, given their first interaction and his past thoughts of him. (And maybe learning that Coop ended up being the reason Emery was attracted to Andy in the first place.) Andy being hungry for dick because Coop turned him down and letting Emery use him for sex? That’s an angle I hadn’t considered before. Honestly, Emery strikes me as really iffy too. He approached Andy directly in the first place because he saw the boner Coop made him pop in the first volume. And his whole thing with Fletcher feels like a big red flag. Though, it doesn’t feel Andy went for him because of Cooper. I think Andy just did that on his own. And then Emery spoiled him rotten. Which…kind of makes me feel like it makes Andy’s issues worse. I do agree with you in that Andy and Coop need to put all their cards on the table if they’re going to work everything out. As for Coop screwing with Andy, I think that pretty much stopped after the first Volume in the first story arc. As for Coop saying that Andy didn’t need to change…I don’t really agree with that. I think Andy needs to change too - and change a lot, like Coop did. So Andy can embrace his strengths, and stop being so damn insecure.

I don't think Andy has the funds to pay "top dollar". I think Emery does. I think Emery might. I think this could be awkward. I wonder if Andy will use the fact that he's with River and figured out that it's coop and maybe Emery will pay for it? Or some creepy guy will and Andy will rescue. Hmm. Excited to see. Also, why is coop just finding out about this now? Didn't they have time to plan for this?
