I really can't wait to see how the rest of this turns out. Things are as bad as they can be right now or we have the tinder to make them so. This going to have all kinds of implications regarding how Cooper is going to handle this. If he's not going to talk to Andy anymore, he might be considering even marrying Chelsea.

Cooper is trying to fix things (I think) but he’s going about it all the wrong way. I know he needs some personal space to think for right now but he really shouldn’t be pushing away those who do care about his well-being I hope he give Andy a sincere apology for being how he has been once he gets his mind straight. As for Andy, he certainly has every right to be upset when in large he’s tried to help cooper on multiple occasions but I think he needs some time to really get his thoughts composed too so that he can really understand what he truly wants as well. Thank you for your wonderful story jackaloo and giving us all something to think and debate about!

It makes sense. And obviously in his own way, Cooper is fixing things. I think spending the night with Andy had to be the catalyst of seeing if everything needed fixing, or if he could go back to being who he was. Now he has to make a plan and fix things one by one. Apologize to Chelsea, figure out his career, become a better person for Andy, etc.

Bleh, coop is definitely not going about this the right way. I have a feeling Andy might end up with Em with where things stand right now because at least boss doggo has himself figured out more. Sure, asking someone to intern for you with the conditions he set up isn't exactly right either, but I have a feeling Andy and Emery might be able to talk out something more legit than Andy and coop could, given how cooper handles himself- at least based off how things are standing with them all right now.

I remember running away like that after my first time with my friend. I was so scared. I didn't know who I was anymore. It's only after my fear and problems subsided that I realized what I did leaving my friend like that. And I felt like a horrible person.

Coop may be going about this the wrong way, but I think he's going about it the best HE can. Keep in mind at the very least he didn't just leave. He went and got Andy's keys meaning he had to go to Chelsea's, he brought them back, AND left a note. All things considered it seems even through his panic attack he kept Andy in mind and actually wasn't too selfish for once. Now what he said was a little selfish but extremely understandable. I feel for Andy cause I have a friend I've imagined this very scenario with. Doesn't know how to handle his feelings. And all Andy can do right now is wait it out. He needs time to process and of all people who can influence him, Andy would be the largest one, meaning he has to remove himself from that influence to understand what he really wants and how he really feels after all the things that have happened in the past 24 hours.

So it sounds like some of us here have been on on end or the other. I, myself am where Andy stands. Now Emy has had lots of more time to understand himself and be good enough for Andy. Cooper hasn't. His story is just beginning with finding himself for sure. So it isn't fair to Cooper or Andy to say what's best for either of em. But I will say, God dammit Andy, whatever you do DO NOT bug Cooper! That will only stir shit up!

Well, at least he got the keys. "Right now" is also better than it could have been. This means he went to Chelsea's house. So did he talk to her or sneak around? It's painful to see but I can hardly wait to see what happens next.

I wonder what Cooper did to get Andy's keys back. I think the implication is that he made up with Chelsea somehow which would actually be kinda shocking. What would he have had to say or do in order to convince her that he's not gay, to keep her from even thinking that he's gay, to convince her to let him back into the house to get his keys. It would be odd, for sure, if she forgave him so easily unless he convinced her that he was drunk. What if Coop just ends up staying with Chelsea to keep her from thinking that he's gay and to buy her silence, after a fashion? He's so panicked about people thinking and finding out that he's gay that, in that state of mind, he might end up trying to cut every and all ties with Andy. The shock for Andy, I'll wager, is that he walks in to work or gets a call from Chelsea or something and finds out that Cooper and Chelsea are engaged. I swear to God it seems that that's the direction that this is headed. Cooper's panic attack showed that while he knows he's gay that he CANNOT handle ANYONE ever knowing or finding out about it. There's a frightening logical conclusion to this: If Cooper can't handle ANYONE finding out about his being gay, that means he's going to have to find a way to silence Andy, too. Unless he trusts Andy, I can imagine Cooper threatening Andy: "I sear to God, if you tell a fucking soul! . . ." He somehow managed to plug the Chelsea "leak," but Andy's a real and credible threat, too. I can also imagine Cooper, in his panic, completely discrediting Andy. What if Cooper says that Andy initiated the kiss and throws him under the bus in order to silence him that way? He wouldn't have to threaaten him, he could just paint Andy as a reprobate so that no one would listen to or care about anything Andy says. He could end up going to HR and saying that Andy sexually assaulted him. He could get Andy fired while also denouncing Andy as a liar, tanking his credibility so that even if Andy does come back about Cooper being gay, nobody will believe him and think that he's just trying to revictimise Cooper. If Andy comes back with the assertion that Cooper wanted the kiss and that he initiated the contact, he'd just come off as a sleazeball after the fashion of "He was asking for it . . . ." Cooper has an extraordinary amount of ammunition. Andy has leverage in that his paramour, Walden, is the boss of the company--who might not be able to help Andy out in the case of such an occurrence, but Andy has leverage over Cooper to an extent.

Uhhhggg, something that sucks about being omniscient with these (to an extent) is that we know Cooper is freaking out bad. Whereas Andy might just be assuming he bailed. Now I know this looks bad overall with Cooper, I just hope he's doing the best he can, as far as he's aware anyway. Because I am on the Andy/Cooper ship but this is heading towards rough waters, but I am still team optimism!! If I'm being honest though my heart will be broken if it turns out he did some of the things others are afraid he has. Such as proposing to Chelsea to try and patch things up or slandering Andy. Because that's not fair to ANYONE. Hopefully Cooper had a heart to heart with Chelsea, because I think if she at least understands that can help. She might not forgive him, but it might help. Then after the talk he's just wanting alone time for soul searching. *nervous thumbs up*

So if cooper does go back to Chelsea, and lets say they get back together. Then Andy, and Emery fall apart since I think he's actually seeing someone else already. Then that leaves Andy pretty down in the gutter. Maybe where someone realizes something and has to come to terms with how he feels. Too many good points and guesses on the direction.

The possibilities of how the story will progress is hard to predict. I'm hoping Cooper figures stuff out and makes up with Andy.

Although I sympathize with Cooper I feel sorry for Andy for being done that way with just a note but the one I feel sorry for the most is Chelsea because she did nothing wrong and ended up getting hurt by both of her closest people. I don't know exactly what that note means for the two of these guys but its almost like he's cutting ties with Andy in a way because of his fears.

Ugh this is exactly what I didn’t want to happen. But ok I’ll go with it. At least Cooper’s making an attempt. I mean he had to brave Chelsea to get the keys back, who knows how that went. And I’m not surprised he needs some space after that night, but dang it I really wanted them to work through it together. I hate how Andy’s been let down again. Ugh as always, in suspense until the next page

After the last page, I really hoped Cooper would wake Andy up to help him calm down, like in Summers Gone. This is really bad--Cooper has run off completely out of control, and he's already gone to see Chelsea, meaning he went over there without a clean head. That is NOT good. Can't help but wonder what the others are thinking of all this mess. Gotta admit though--Andy's pout face is outright adorkable. :-)
