Maaaarrrkkkk

Also thanks for waiting! I know it's been a while for this comic. Almost finished, and then a new one's gonna launch. Expect polls soon for which one I should do next! There are a handful of half-written ones waiting to debut :3

Can Mark come back and save Andy?

Dede

He chickened out :(

Jonathan Maldonado

Don’t write him off!!! He needs to come back to rightfully challenge Cooper for Andy!!!!!

GreenDreamer

Goddamn, that hurts....and the sad thing is Andy did it without even having meant to. My heart goes out to all the ones who’ve had that love lost too.

Mudgupy

Damn what the heck Andy didn’t even give him a chance :(

Tenyo

Oh! That’s so sad! Shot down right away.

Orchid Park

This moment is exactly why I haven’t confessed any feelings to literally anyone 😔

Michael Wright

Awwww Mark needs to fall back into Andy's life and be the amazing boyfriend we all know he can be. Pasta every night!!

Knoxer

For all those that say Coop is a jerk and deserves to rot...Food ol Andy has been the jerk too! This page hurts in a lot of ways :( Poor Mark.

Kyle Gaymer, Beary Rookie

Poor Mark :( letting his feelings out just to get rejected. I get it that Andy is going through a lot but he shouldn’t pass up the opportunity to be with someone that actually cares about him. Even though this is a prequel, hopefully Mark makes an appearance in the main story as Andy really needs to move on from Cooper as it doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere with him

Diego Martin

Nooooooo! Why! Andy you are such an ass!

Megapuppykun

Poor Mark... I'm conflicted because I really like the Andy/Cooper relationship that's been teased but if they fail I wouldn't be opposed to Mark/Andy getting together maybe. I gotta say timing sucks for Mark, not his fault of course. He'd probably have had a chance if he was maybe a couple days or weeks earlier...

Zeke Red

NOOOOOOOO! I get it i get it, continuity and he's not in the current story so he can't be THAT big here, and Andy's overwelmed, but still, come on! ugh

Cameron Bear

Andy's "picker" is SO broken.

Niko

Awww poor mark :'( that was really rough of you andy:(

Thingymabob

Poor Mark. Just scoop the idiot up and save him the Cooper based heartache. Because as much as I ship Coop/Andy, I don't feel like this ends with them together.

Vaska

Andy needs a good slap

M1Frank

Heart breaking for mark...

Leafside

Noooo Mark, i can hear the shatter i wish mark the best of future Dx damn

myrontheotter

Can we have a Mark spinoff? I love how flawed every single character is in this story, but I can't help but to really love how good of a guy Mark has been so far. Also, the way Andy handled rejecting Mark... could have been much more sensitive.

PIXXXU

Geeeesh Andy... You could've been a little more sensitive. Poor Mark.

ArcticSpirit

Mark needs a happy ending or I swear I'll bring the world to its knees.

Rustle Tasmania

Okay I understand that Mark revealing that at the moment may not have been the best time (I've been in his shoes too recently 😬) but Andy should have AT LEAST been more sensitive and not straight up told him to stop. He's overwhelmed though with everything going on so I get that BUT STILL Now I love Andy & Cooper but oooooooooo I love Andy & Mark A LOT better 😭😭

Anonymous

This is the first time I’m legitimately mad at Andy for once

sunkawakan

I am losing sympathy for Andy. He;s so effing hung up on Cooper

JP Marone

Aaaaah my heart!

Kind Ply

NOoo man look what you've done Andy :'( How could you treat him this way? Give him a chance!!

Jerry

Should have kept going mark.

Nova Wolf

I no longer like Andy. I'm so disappointed in him now

Niovium

Andy! What are you doing!

HalFolf

Combined with Andy's behaviour in the main comic and how he's acting here, he has some serious growing up ahead of him. Maybe learning to see when he's not getting anything back, no matter how attached...what a wasted opportunity T_T

Skald

I feel so bad for Mark...that might have been Marks coming out moment too. The timing wasn’t the best but he still has trusted and looked after Andy through all of his drama and Andy has done nothing but push Mark and his feelings aside. I want/need to see more of Mark and his story!

Noel

Dammit Andy. 😭

I agree, he’s so obsessed with Cooper wanting a relationship with him when it’s unlikely seeing everything going on in the prequel and the main story. He pushes opportunities away because he’s daydreaming about a fantasy that probably won’t happen due to Cooper’s nature

Same here, Mark really cares about Andy and is a better fit for him unlike Cooper who doesn’t see Andy the same way nor is he sure about his sexuality. Andy pushed an opportunity away because of someone that doesn’t like him that way

Ashenay

Why even having Mark in your comic if it's to just throwing him in the trash like that Jackaloo?...

Luke

Probably the first page that got me a bit emotional throughout the entire length of this comic. Mark deserves better than this, tbh.

Chihiro19

I want a side story where Mark finds happy ending

I find it fascinating at how the start of this series most people really disliked Cooper and cheered for Andy. Now as we've learned more about these characters it seems as though people have really come to care about Cooper and have soured on Andy.

I dont know why Mark would want to. Andy brushing off a profound moment for Mark here like it was nothing was awful. Mark deserves better.

Insomni-act

I saw this coming. It was very clear that Andy had no interest in him, but knew all along. Andy didn't even offer the "let's just be friends" option. He straight up said let's just be roommates and that's it.

Insomni-act

There are points where you realize that Andy and Coop are BOTH assholes and actually deserve each other 😂

sheppard wolfeyes

Amazing. Reading these reviews, and mostly one sided opinions. We knew Andy was and has been in love with Cooper for a long time. Here Andy is really saving Mark. It may not seem like it, but if Andy had let this go and given Mark a chance he would have his heart in another place. Wouldn't be fair to Mark to invest so much to only have Andy's mind and not his heart. These are the kind of things that sour relationships over time, and are not healthy. It's something I think Andy realizes. Glad he didn't lie to himself. I hope we see Mark in the kind of loving relationship that he deserves.

Jetski

This might be the most telling page we've gotten about Andy. So much happening here that really foretells what we've seen in the future. Andy is a kind soul that doesn't want Mark to fall for him when his heart wouldn't be in it. But it also shows how afraid Andy is of change at the same time. Like he had to be pushed to doing anything with Waldren and gets terrified when change is proposed there. This doesn't make me lose any love for Andy, provides a little more context, his heart has always been set on Coop. Whether that's right or not is left to be determined.

Salvanas

This is so sad and I feel so bad for Mark, I want him to be happy so badly but I know where Andy is coming from. I just hope we can see Mark happy in the future.

Insomni-act

Looking at this again I've actually been in this situation before. It's really frustrating when you're hung up on someone who doesn't feel the same about you and then some other guy that you really don't feel that way about comes along and says all the things you wanted to hear from the person you actually want. It's like a kick in the gut and a lot of the times doesn't make the situation better.

Insomni-act

This series just never stops being relatable. I know I've said this before, but Jack you really have a way of connecting to the readers. I think that's one of the things I love most about this series.

I just ended a relationship in this exact situation. I was super hung up on my ex and someone came along and said the right things, and I went along with it hoping my feelings for him would eventually overcome the ones I had for my ex. Didn't work out that way.

Dusk
>>55995932

For real, like in that last frame i could practically feel and hear the heart break in Mark's words, "You got it, buddy..."

Anonymous

ugh what a kick of sadness to the gut

Zian Panda

Being a Mark IRL, I can confirm this has happened to me countless times. :(
