I accidentally vomited out an analysis of Ghostbusters in the original recording that I liked, but wasn't really relevant in a 20+ minute video. Also some other tidbits about TF's history of being a dick for no reason even around other scientists.

I've gone to academic conferences for Psychology as part of a research team. Guess what - those conferences had a Code of Conduct. This is how you know thunderf00t is completely full of shit when he tried to claim that harassment at secular conferences wasn't a problem and these conferences didn't need harassment policies in place.

It definitely needs to be seen. Especially that Freethough Blogs episode, since I still see "rational" atheist people whine about FTB kicking off Thunderf00t because they hate free speech and rationalism. Ooor Hbomb goes some more into Thunderf00t history, in a completely new video ;)

I felt like the video was already a little too long and branching out too far from responding to the ideas in TF's videos. I'm really glad you liked it though. Some of my content is moving in a media-analysis direction so it's good to know there's an audience for my style!

Ahh man, I am mildly disappointed that the section on Misspell-Man-00's obsession with subverting discussions on sexual harassment at conferences got cut. I understand time constraints and all, but it is a real shame...

A good rule of thumb both on the Internet and in general: Anyone who has to describe themselves as "rational" or "logical" is statistically incredibly likely to be at an Alex Jonesian level of batshit. If you are approached by this type of person, run away and never look back.
