Mr Peadody, set the Way-Back machine to 2014.  For whatever reason I only published a sub-HD sized version of this on DA years ago.  I'm in the middle of doing another one of her, so since I'm in a Megara shipping mood...everybody wins.  :D

As I said on DA years ago:  Yep, I'd sell my soul to Hades and do his bidding for all eternity...for a shot at Meg.

Yeah she looks like she could do twisty bendy sexy things. Yeah I remember the Wayback machine, I always wondered what year they started in and why they called it that when they also traveled to the future. The thing that always gets me is when I watch old shows that refer to 1999 and 2000's as in the future, and why we don't have some of that stuff yet. We've lived long enough to see 2000 we should have better toys not just phones and computers. :-)

Well, when Mr Peabody and Sherman aired The Time Machine (the novel) was only 55 years old, and now here we are some 70 years after the original Mr Peabody. Well, that and the theory of relativity was (in the grand scheme of things) a relatively new concept in 1950....1905, but wasn't widely accepted until the 1920s. Mr Peabody (et al) took a few liberties...it's highly unlikely that backwards time travel is even possible, whereas forward time travel (measured in nanoseconds (or less)) has already been proven. When H.G. Wells was writing The Time Machine telephones had just been invented and radio transmission was still the stuff of science fiction....cell phones are just over-glorified radios after all.
