Economic Sanctions are the modern equivalvent to day and night bombing in WW2. Hit with devastation everywhere, the slow deterioration of public morale and livelihood within a literaly crumbling infrastructure and commodity deivery system, Russian citivilians are increasingly hardening their amazing survival methods whle living in shattered social systems the mental equivalents of debris filled streets and empty window filled hollowed buildings. There is no better population to survive a bare earth economy than the Russian people, walking head high in a shuffle used by evacuating refugees moving from one disaster to another, they find jokes and common courage a food and shelter substitute for now as old clothes fit looser and looser, while shoe soles resemble the paper of their children's school notebooks, if they can get any. What happens at collapse of an entire people with a tradition of endurance that is unmatched by almost every other nation in the world? The entire country is reliving the seige of St. Petersburg/Leningrad while finding their grinding teeth provide no solace nor soften the empty pits of their growling stomaches. An entire people is facing a precipice in common, the end of their foot dragging and grim laughs that produce no smiles, only express a common, quiet rage at a leader who lives even larger and grander than any historical autocrat could imagine. Their daily Great Patriotic War replay reaches further back each day as every person becomes a character in famous Russian novels, troubled intellects fussing over morality only they can remember once dominated and hordes of hungry peasants reaching their last shreds of restraint as they sense their ablity to fight back and begin the "Last" Russian Revolution is fading fast. The spark will be another child coughing and whining all night with a hunger they cannot feed, some bureaucrat's heartless ruling or friends cast out in the street because a payment was long long over due. A low growl becomes a growing riot of grim faced comrades accumulating in a new kind of protest that aborbs the AMON devils and their black vans, leaving them bloody and their elephantine boxes upside down, burning with tall spires of billowing black smoke. Unstoppable, arising everywhere in a still proud country, the people's war revolutionary energy revives hope and rage long suppressed to end penetrating the red walls of the Kremlin that provide no protection for the nervous apparatchniks inside, burning precious lies printed on paper and stuffing huge limousines with fortunes torn out of hidden safes and hidden bunkers. Then a new Russia will arise, hopefully one smarter and more aware of its true nature unsullied by hideous Ideology or santctified lies and hard faced, heartless leaders.
