Thank you for illuminating and emphasizing the terrible reality that is being hoisted on the Russian people. Putin’s rhetoric that started the war was centered around a dogma based on fighting a spiritual war against a western liberal democratic agenda infiltrating Ukraine with the real threat being perceived as an assault on Slavic family values. Simply, Putin did not want the fraying of family values to be subverted by a liberal gay agenda. The cost of their spiritual conflict is the destruction of the moral fabric of a generation that has been fractured by the horrors of a war that cannot be won. The fractured psyche of the boys and men returning from this conflict is an immeasurable burden that will reverberate through whatever remains of theses communities for decades to come. It will destroy generations of future Russian families and crystallize in the Ukrainian psyche an indomitable mandate to never trust the Moskaliy ever again for centuries. Thank you for reporting on this real consequence. This is the truth of the real achievement of this conflict. At its core remains the key construct of his July 12, 2021 essay, titled “On the Historical Unity of Russians and Ukrainians” is this: “Liberalism has failed. The West is rotting. Russia must resist and reclaim its rightful place as the heart of a traditional, sacred civilization.” The cost of this conflict however is the spiritual destruction of a generation.
