I'm really impressed at how patient and clever the Ukraine Generals are. I've noted the static maintenance of force being held on the left of the Dnieper and how their role seemed to have been to harass the Russians on the other side and simply remind them that they are there. But, they have been very careful not to allow any Russian reconnaissance which would reveal their strength. Now that Russia has committed a large force to the East, near Avdiivka, the Ukraine's know that re-enforcement of Kherson will be costly in other areas. It's a no-win situation for Russia; deplete Donetsk and lose Avdiivka; deplete Zaporizhzhia and lose Tokmak. We can only hope that the bridgehead(s) in Kherson will support the movement of heavy equipment, and particularly HiMARS, into Kherson and put the Kerch Bridge and Crimean airfields into range of ATACMS.
