Here's what's going down in groovestown this week:

AXCLOOSIV Nogger U Film Review #3: Being video edited at the moment! Will try my best to get it out by this Sunday. It'll be a whopping 45 minutes!

OSW Live: No progress yet :( I've contacted Gimmick Tree/Brad again re: the footage with several options. I'm spending the next few days prepping the splicey splicey. If there's no movement by June I'll reconsider other options - I'm still holding out hope to get the footage, because it'd be SO much better with it!

TNA Lockdown: Our next episode! We're recording this next week, and will be out sometime in June. Destination X should hit YouTube this Saturday!

Sending stuff in the mail! I've run out of gold foil so I'm ordering more. It sucks to run out but I'm also real proud, lol. It's like crashing the website due to traffic :P Hopefully get them in this week or next and we’re back in business. After giving his 8-week notice (JAYSUS!) V1 is now free to work on OSW full-time!! We had steak in FXB's to celebrate!The plan is to help me with OSW episodes to get them out on a regular basis and also spearhead new videos - whatever he's passionate about (which makes for the best videos!) I'm gonna be teaching him how to video edit and we're looking into buying him a new editing rig. If that's something you know about please let me know! 

Found an apartment outside Dublin (not above a funeral parlour sadly, lol) so I can get better work done. Pulling teeth getting broadband out in the schticks -- it's so weird how useless your stuff is without an internet connection! Stuck using my shitty mobile data which could only load text so I gave up. Ever go 2 days without internet? I've never been disconnected from you guys more than an afternoon so there was some serious separation anxiety! Lol

The fucker's heavy! It's an AT LP120, the speakers are Mackie CR5s, and the record is the No Man's Sky soundtrack! That's by 65daysofstatic and I'd highly recommend listening to it! I got the CR5s because they have bluetooth, which is super handy for playing stuff through your phone! I hear it's not good to have the turntable and speakers on the same table so I need to find some kind of cabinet. I've never had a record player before, only used the one in the radio station (where I do Super OSW 64 ) a few times. Decided to get a few more after Chris sent me the Streets of Rage soundtrack record (video here!) :P I LOVE the massive artwork and tactile feel of vinyl but there's no way fidelity is better than wav/flacs, lol. Hilarious to hear crackles and pops of imperfections/dust on the record. ("Hey! It's that noise rappers put at the start of their songs!") Also the run time of a side is like 30 minutes, ha ha! Yes, sides; the No Man's Sky soundtrack comes on 3 sides (the 4th one just has etching and is unplayable). I love how the format promotes listening to the whole album rather than just shuffling through tracks. Something to listen to while sipping craft beer and re-reading the label after every sip!
