Helloooooo!! Thank u so much for making this bucket list item ticked off. it's soft and squeezy, I can't wait for everyone to get theirs! It'll be around our 14 YEAR Anniversary in May!I think that's it for plushies! Nobody's buying a jay hunter doll 😂 I do hate annoying ye guys about it/merch in general. I always feel like it's a tremendous imposition! It's insane that it takes the guts of a YEAR for the whole process to complete! I would've thought July is well in time for Xmas, and we blew right past that. Here's the timeline:• July 15 - first contacted MakeShip (introduced by Matt McMuscles)• Aug 22 - 5-day petition goes live (to get 200 people to pre-order to show MakeShip they should make it!)• Sept 3 - design on the plushie begins (back and forth, every change takes 2-3 weeks). It was pretty great, only 2 revisions needed (fix the colour, sort the trim to make sure the rectangular boxes are straight) ^^ original MakeShip design vs revision. Note the slight wibble on the orange/pink trim. What do u think of the original design?• Oct 28 - finalised design! This was pretty painless (apart from the wait) as What Bar is already a 'canonised' design. So it was making sure the bar is as close to it as possible 🙂• Nov 16 - launch! The three week actual purchasing period. I intentionally waited until the next OSW so I could launch it together, seems like the best time! • Dec 18 - the purchasing period officially ends (we were granted an extra 10 days as it won't affect shipping times) and production of 705 What Bar Plushies begin!! Anyhoo if you've purchased one there'll be an email waiting for you that says it's been fully funded and creation is on the way. I can't wait for ye guys to get it!!! And now we play...the waiting game 🦛I'm quite confident in MakeShip's quality as I was sent a prototype to take photos of, and I've bought a few from them before!
