OSW Update! (4th Sept) (Patreon)

^^^ Early pixel art for the next intro!HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NOGGERS! What is going down in Groovestown?

August was a whopper month! It saw our ALIENS (1986) film review & Ep 65, TNA Hard Justice 2007 released! I'm really happy how both turned out. Chris (from ReloadLastSave) came aboard with the first video pass of both, which allowed me more time to work on splicey-splicey. That worked out awesome as Hard Justice had over THREE HUNDRED bits of splicey, the most of any OSW episode ever! -- thanks to retrospectives of the Outlaws, Test, Pacman, Dustin Rhodes and the IGF title!

Keep It 2000: Myself & V1 also cameo'd in their latest episode! We reviewed the "SHADDDAPPP!" episode of Nitro (May 8th, 2000, the night after Slamborree). It's a fun show! More info/listen/download here: Patreon.com/posts/14167602

V1 found a Nogger bar in Poland!!

Speaking of V1: He started streaming earlier in August!Follow him -> https://www.Twitch.tv/OSWreview

With his new PC up and running, he's doing playthroughs of games, as he'll create new videos about them. (BTW the problem he had of the internet cutting out was solved by getting a new modem!) He's been having a blast chatting with ye lads while live-streaming, and whenever I'm free I'll jump in the chat. He's usually on around 8pm IST. If ur wondering, we don't leave closeby. Since the rental crisis is CRAZY in Dublin, V1 and I moved out earlier this year into new accommodation (in Kildare and Bettystown respectively). I also needed a new place to edit, which helps my head out so much!

Where's SummerSlam 2017? Since Hard Justice came out the same day as SummerSlam, I was shattered and couldn't go straight back into production. Current WWE reviews kinda demand a quick turnaround, I decided just to abandon the project and just start work on the final part of the TNA storyline. Good news that you'll get B4G a few weeks earlier now! I don't think I've given my thoughts on SummerSlam/NXT; but I loved the Asuka/Ember match (tremendous, way better than Orlando! Ember's improved leaps and bounds) and the Fatal 4 Way. Well behind Braun as the second coming of the Warlord! He's been booked tremendously since 2 weeks after Mania and must get the belt soon. Feel bad for Hardyz/Cesaro-Sheamo as there was like 100 people in the arena for their pre-show match!

What's on tap for OSW?

NEXT EPISODE: TNA Bound For Glory! Custom videogame intro & music is already underway, and we're recording it this week! Since it's the final episode of the arc, it's gonna be a blowout! This arc has been so much fun to do. I'm glad you guys are enjoying it too. Tons of different eras in TNA, we'll be back at some point :)

V1: He's finished Zelda's Breath of the Wild and we'll record that review after B4G :) This will be the first V1-spearheaded video so I'm really interested & excited to see what he comes up with!

NoggerU Film Review: The last 2 were excellent films (Alien & Aliens) so we'll make sure to pick something bollocks :P Recording this later in the month!

What Bars: After we record TNA, myself and V1 will be packing and sending out more bars! Little delay sourcing the choccies but should be sorted soon. Thanks to everyone who got back to me re: updating their addresses. After that we'll send out NU cards! Appreciate your patience, I don't really trust or want other people to do it. But you'll love it!

And personally:

Really excited that everything's coming together! This month, I'll be showing V1 the ropes of editing and he'll be making his BOTW video. In general I'm looking for ways I can speed up production: with Chris on the team, it's cut video-editing time down by a few days. At the moment, I'm pre-sourcing most of the splicey I'd be looking for, which will save me at least a day. I've also bought components for a new PC for me, which'll help me edit faster (in the final few days before the episode is released, my current computer starts coughing up blood due to all the splicey, crashing often!)

Other than that my apt came unfurnished so I've done a lot of IKEA shopping. Did you know, a Tesco shopping trolley fits in my doors? ha ha!

Part of my IKEA haul :P

TL/DR: B4G recording this week, recording V1 game and NU film review later on! As always I'll keep ya updated on my progress. It's all very exciting!

See ya in the funny pages :DJay

p.s. Is there anything you'd like to see in the Bound For Glory episode?
