New Intro Sneak Peek! (Patreon)

Hey brahs and bras!

Hope you’re having a relaxing Sunday :) I jumped on V1’s twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/OSWreview) yesterday and as a treat I posted the upcoming B4G intro! I thought I should post it here also. It’s not the final version, but I think it’s a cool thing you can see ahead of time!

Just a run-down of what’s on tap:

B4G Editing Progress (Updated regularly!) : https://www.patreon.com/posts/14485223 (should be out in roughly a week!)

V1 helped with the splicey shopping list, so it’s between myself and Chris getting the 2nd pass and then final edit! 

Game reviews: We recorded massive Zelda BOTW and Destiny 2 reviews last weekend and V1’s been busy audio editing (I was so proud hearing him tell me how sometimes you can cut a large chunk out and not notice, and other times a little chunk and you can tell! All part of the editing dance :D ). I might get him to something smaller first, and V1-made videos will start rolling out sometime this month!

He also streams on twitch most week-nights, I jump in the audio chat when I can, but 8-11pm I’m usually still editing. I’ve no idea how you can play a game, read chat-room questions and talk at the same time! I can barely walk and talk. He's been streaming Fire Pro, Destiny 2, Telltale Batman, Cuphead (squeeeeee!), and FIFA 2018 in preparation to face Mr. OOC! And myself:I’m stoked to be making progress on editing OSW more efficient (I know it doesn’t look like it yet!), it took me 11 days to edit the audio (it usually takes 5 days) because the fidelity wasn’t perfect and wanted the show to be super tight. It sucks ‘losing’ a week, but It’s like if I don’t do this now, it’ll be annoying me forever. I don’t know if this matters to you but hopefully you noticed Hard Justice was the best-sounding review I’ve released! A bit stuck with optimising Auphonic’s levelation (it still puts us in the background sometimes) but 90% of the time we sound super great! We’ll get there. Super happy with the B4G audio!

Here’s what my life was like this week:

Monday: Audio editing all day (finishing it!) segmentise, cut up matches for Chris

Tuesday: Day off since I worked Saturday

Wednesday: Create Deleted Scenes video (my current PC crashed putting in only 30 splicies! C’mon! lol)

Thursday: V1 came over, put together new PC to edit OSW faster

Friday: Find out why it isn’t working and eventually succeed at 1.35am!https://twitter.com/OSWreview/status/913925158817140736

(the answer was, not sure, but rebuilding it seems to get everything working!)

Saturday: feel horrific so sleep most of the day

Sunday (today): Good to go again so prepping splicey and installing editing programs.

Absolutely going to mill B4G out of it next week. It’s gonna be super crunch time and it’s going to be emotionalllllll! Should be out on Sunday (8th). Rock on!
