Hey brahs and bras!

Hope you've having a good weekend! I hear that Americans count Sunday as the start of the week. Is Sunday still the weekend? Thinking of the week as 1-5-1 rather than 5-2 if v odd to me but does it help to mentally prepare?

Hope you enjoyed Bound For Glory 2007 last Sunday! It was the first episode to be edited on the new PC (I did gathering footage and audio editing on the old one) and it was SO much better to edit with. Definitely saved at least half a day as the old one would crash constantly in the final few days. Boo! I did manage to get the new PC to crash twice but I'm thinking it's due to working while it's still 'thinking'/loading thumbs or making shadowedit files. 

I mentioned I spoiled the next story arc at the start of the OSW Live video! 

So what's coming up for OSW?

We're going to do random reviews until kicking off the next story arc in 2018! We've got some whopper ideas for that we wanna do before deep diving into a new arc.

Next up is a 3-man film review, we're recording in a couple days, that'll be out in a few weeks (early Nov). It's a film that we've talked about before and OOC has been dying to talk about!

Then we look at modern TNA (10 years later!) with Bound For Glory 2017. Super interested to see what they're like now as they've been hiring talent like it's 2007!

Other things I'm working on:

• Hard Justice deleted scenes vid; one of my favourite shows we've done! It always saddens me to have to cut stuff out of episodes to make them tight, but I'm glad you guys get to see the funnies I cut out.

• I'll prod DublinCityFM to get the next Super OSW episode out, it's been ages and I'm dying to do another!

• Podcast version of Hard Justice coming sometime this week. There's a few edits I need to make and then send it off to the feed

• More pixelart for a future video

• Notes for a different future NU video that I'm not sure will take off but I'd like to try

How's V1 getting on?

He's doing great! Saw him on Saturday to pack What Bars and we also saw IT (which is worth watching!), got recognised having a pint at The Church (the restaurant/bar not the place of God!) which was awesome. During the day he's learning/editing his first videogame review and after dinner he streams around 7pm GMT. The best way to catch him is following/subscribing at twitch.TV/OSWreview and get notifications to your phone! The Destiny 2 review should be out by the end of the month.

And personally:

I've been trying to normalise my work week and not do the crazy drilling and needing recovery time, and apart from last week doing 7 days in a row I've been doing better. Despite being a ~2 hour monster, B4G was my least coma-y production to date! I only let V1 do the 'shopping list' for splicey as I've real trouble loosening the reins (it feels easier just for me to do everything) but I aim to get him to gather splicey whilst I cut the audio, which'd shave 1-2 days off production! 

This past week is my 'off-week' between finishing an episode and starting production on a new one, where I get bits of bobs done that I've put off over the last month. I ordered 180 chocolate bars and new return labels! Also saw the guys and pitched them new NU merch, sorted my bro's laptop, watched, took notes and did research for the upcoming film review, liaised with artists/animators for future eps, prepped the What Bar packaging on Fri (customs declaration stickers take forever to fill out!) and sent out 80 of them on Saturday! It's so good having someone help me with this stuff, it literally cuts the time in half and is way better craic. Just to recap we sent out 80 What Bars on Saturday, and we’ll be sending out more this coming weekend! And then on to NU cards!
