After MovieBob's 83 minute Batman V Superman breakdown I'm getting a lot of Zack Snyder today

Great video lads, did you notice that when Night Owl took his goggles off, he looked a lot like the one and only...Holiday Armadillo.

Dylan White

God so much blue dick! Also I’m actually SHOCKED no one mentioned the movie being written by Solid Snake himself, David Hayter. Figured V1 would’ve had a small stroke learning that

Fuckin deadly lads, very funny

Look out, Arbogast!

OOC's point about Man of Steel pretty much sums about my experience with Zack Snyder films. I feel there's an immensely talented filmmaker there. His problem though, is his inability to reign things in. We get you want to make the allegory of Superman and Jesus but to flaunt it every chance possible is tiring. Slow motion and bullet time effects would have a bigger impact if it wasn't overused to death every 10 seconds during action sequences. And just because you need explosions in some scenes, doesn't mean every one of them has to be on the scale of hiroshima. He can't help himself but "ZACKSNYDER!!" his films. He's the poster filmmaker for being your own worst enemy. I feel he would have been a tremendous cinematographer instead of a director who has input on story and presentation.

Saw this lst night at 2am so was up late but you lads are whopper! Film Duggan's the original graphic novel series which I so remember at the time as being and still is epic

Just in time for the Justice League crossover. Which I have hopes for as it's written by probably the best active comic writer right now - Geoff Johns. Just as interesting trivia, I've heard Alan Moore would get the rights back to the Watchmen if DC ever stop circulation of the Watchmen. Moore being famous for his elitism and hatred of anyone changing anything about his work. Too bad for him his work is so great it never stops selling, a victim of his own success. Fuck him though, on top of that justifying rape thing, he had the Joker sexually assault Batgirl and show her father the pictures in the Killing Joke. A little Vince Russo in his treatment of women.

I saw Watchmen at a midnight showing after winning tickets off the radio. I had just been at a showing of Moon, whopper, so the length (hrr hrr) and dullness made me desperate for my bed by the end. Still a gorgeous film though. I think the Dr. Manhatten twist is much better than the comic ending, though I love that parts of the "Alien" show up all through the comics. Just like tentacles behind Ozymandias during early panels. Excellent review, lads!

Lucas Irvine

Great review. I’ll be honest I actually like the film. It may be an extremely long clusterfuck of a film, but it’s an enjoyable clusterfuck. Crate of Coke for you guys.

Anthony Urmston-Toft

Seriously you guys are giving me material to be one cool dad. Ta very muchly

I want Jay's 'Lori throws a strop' noise as a ringtone. Also- if OOC's version ran 2hr25mins, V1's ran 3hr5mins and Jay's ran 3hr35mins, what version have I seen on Netflix that runs 2hrs42mins? They're all a right slog to get through either way
