Great job, Jay. Really enjoyed the show. Looking forward to more in the future. As for "constructive criticism", the only things I'd suggest are: Spoiler Warnings at the start of the video: I wasn't able to mute/pause the video in time so it'd help to have a little more of a heads-up in advance. Plus, the spoiler could've been avoided by saying "a certain character" instead of naming them outright. Framing: I'd stand a little further back from the camera so that we can see your arms gesticulating a little more as you make your points. Script Stand: You were noticeably glancing down at your notes a few times. Perhaps having them under the camera would reduce this. Anyway, hope those are of some use to you. Thanks again for the great content. ^_^

Cheers for the feedback dude! I didn't expect anyone to ever watch the film and it was a bit part so I was blasé about it 😂 but will put up a spoiler warning ahead of time next time! Thanks for the framing thoughts - I'll try stand further back. Where I'm standing is the acoustic sweet spot for the shotgun mic (further back introduces more echo into the room). I did buy a lapel mic but the quality is gick. I'll try it again next time I tape and see if I can do it further back 🙂 Glancing down - the notes are taped to under the camera but being so close to the camera u can see if I'm not looking directly into it 😂 also I've a monitor beside the camera that I sometimes look at. What do you think of the eye contact in general? Should i aim for 100% eye contact?

Marking out to the batteries line from Police Academy 3. I sense you’re a huge fan of the series of movies. 😂

Hey Jay. I really enjoyed this format but as for as the Canon's 30 minute time limit on shooting video, that is a way of dodging a tax for "movie cameras" in many countries. Most Canons can shoot for longer but are artificially limited to 30 minutes. If you want to shoot for longer for any reason you might want to look into Magic lantern, it's 3rd party software that can remove some of the camera's restrictions.

These are kinda cringy to me...We need more solo jay wrestling stuff, like the black saturday pilot
