ALL the NoggerU Goodies! (Patreon)

Welcome Noggers! Happy days are here again! Appreciate the lovely words you've sent my way (I mentioned feeling a ton of burnout in the last update)  and my head's a bit better :) I'd thought I'd check in with ya, and make sure you've all the NoggerU goodies at your disposal. Here's a recap of 2019 in OSW! (and links to all of those sweet noggerU extras!)LEX EXPRESS TOOK A DETOUR INTO SOUTH DUBLIN! We started the year with a Becky Lynch trilogy (since we got to visit her on the Marine 6 set, and wanted to cover Steve's childhood friend main-eventing WrestleMania), then I needed time out after my mam had passed, using 2 banked videos (Exposed and Paige's movie reviews) so I didn't have to 'perform' for a little while.  Strong finish back on course for the Lex Express, December saw 3 episodes released! OSW MOUNTAIN DEW KFC GOLD HONEY MUSTARD BBQ PRE-SHOWS! I also experimented with having more thorough reviews of the TV leading up to PPVs (usually just mentioned at the start of PPV reviews) so we made a separate video for Survivor Series Showdown, which went over a treat! So we saw March to WrestleMania get it's own episode. It depends on what shows WWF put on before the PPV we're reviewing, but it's something we'll continue in the future :D2019's OSW EPISODES:OSW 78 WWE Marine 6OSW 79 WWE Rumble 2019OSW 80 WWE WrestleMania 2019OSW 81 WWF SummerSlam 1993OSW 82 Exposed! When I was ready to start recording again, I thought I'd try my hand at filming on-screen stuff. It's a combination of wanting to see what it's like actually doing it, seeing what your response would be to seeing a podcaster on camera, and exploring alternate routes for video production - YouTube / WWE are really difficult to deal with (making us wait 4-6 weeks to clear videos) and this format might solve that. So, dipping a toe!Jay's greasy face (new camera test)Jay talking to himself (new camera test) The last episode of Season 1 kicked off the new year! (Jan 11, Faith & Creating the Mania). And the last one of 2019 (Oct 29, Resi 2) was a much, much larger production for OSW Playlist because I'm a massive Resi mark. Even got V1 to pull splicey, Steve Yurko lent his amazing artwork and Mono Memory with his boss music talent! If you're wondering why I do OSW Playlist in general, it's because OSW episodes are a gargantuan production, and I like making smaller videos that are completely different to clear my head. Plus I watch/play this stuff anyway so I'd like to share my thoughts with you!2019's OSW PLAYLIST VIDEOS:OSW Playlist S1E11 Faith & Creating The ManiaOSW Playlist S2E01 The Dead Don't DieOSW Playlist S2E02 Netflix's GLOW S1&2OSW Playlist S2E03 I lost 8 stone on SW!OSW Playlist S2E04 TolkienOSW Playlist S2E05 Resident Evil 2 REmake So you can see there's a range of media (book, film, TV show, game) and all were able to get up on YouTube. Small bits of Creating the Mania had to be re-edited to reduce the amount of WWE footage used (it's one of those things where they'll let, say 8 seconds of WrestleMania footage, but not 12 seconds). That said, I was able to get all of Season 1's OSW playlist videos on YouTube!EVERY OSW PLAYLIST VIDEO IN ONE YOUTUBE PLAYLIST!  IF YOU WANNA KNOW WHAT'S IT'S LIKE BEING A YOUTUBE CREATOR:I never talk about it because it's so unpleasant, but I spend A LOT of time appealing, disputing and generally awful legal stressing over YouTube in order to get video footage up. It doesn't matter if it's fair use or not, some companies just don't want their stuff available at all. Take 100% the ad revenue, I just want everyone to see it! Oh well. If you're wondering, back in 2014-5 myself and my lawyer spent 2 years going back and forth with WWE's lawyers. It was really scary, and I highly don't recommend it. In the end, WWE allowed us to continue making OSW episodes, but don't help us with YouTube. 2019: THE YEAR OF GETTING DEMONETISED AND RE-MONETISED!Ha, more YouTube-being-awful talk! The last NU review of 2019 was Fighting With My Family, but the same week it was to be released, YouTube demonetised our entire channel. Why is that a big deal? It's not for whatever ad revenue comes in (most of it goes to WWE & Calvin Harris) but YouTube would hide our channel, and it'd be much harder to get new viewers! (YouTube would only promote videos they can make money on). We produce adult content (eg swearing and unprofessional pub humour, lol), and wrestling isn't favoured by YT (it's not promoted by their algorithm). You guys rallied behind us, and in 27 hours, YouTube reversed it!! They said it was an error, but it was super scary. I'm beaming with pride thinking about how ye guys fought for our cause :) AXCLOOSIV FILM REVIEWS: I focused on main episodes and OSW Playlist this year, so it was a lean 2019 for NU reviews (just Southland Tales, Killjoy, Paige). Because I'm posting a ton of links, I'll include the previous vids too (NU01-11) . I'm very much looking forward to recording new ones with V1. I've gotten a batch of DVDs/Blu-Rays in, so we'll be recording more later in January!   ALL NOGGERU FILM REVIEWS:NU01 WWE Countdown (Dolph Ziggler, Kane, Rusev)NU02 Super Mario BrosNU03 Pro Wrestlers vs Zombies (Kurt Angle)NU04 Alien (1979)NU05 Aliens (1986)NU06 / OSW 69 Sunny Side Up (Sunny)NU07 Hell Comes to Frogtown (Roddy Piper)NU08 Abraxas (Jesse Ventura)NU09 Fatal DeviationNU10 Jurassic ParkNU11 Scott PilgrimNU12 Southland Tales (2019)NU13 Killjoy (2019)NU14 Paige's Fighting With My Family (2019) As you can see, some of these AXCLOOSIVS were posted publicly (Sunny, Frogtown, Fatal Deviation, Paige) either as thanks, or if new YouTube vids are taking too long to clear!   2019's ANIMATED SKITS:OSW Animated: Miz's AmbulanceOSW Animated: Beefy MVOSW Animated: OOC vs Wedding PhotoboothsOSW Animated: Smelly Porn ManAddam knocked 'em out of the park! The OSW song contest (Nov 2018) was also an experiment of putting video footage to audio. I thought it'd be awesome to do the same with Super OSW 64 (my videogame music show I did on the radio starting in 2015) as a way to expose fantastic videogame music to more people, and to keep the youtube channel ticking over between episodes. Chris does a phenomenal job capturing footage and editing, Edgar does a great job finding the artwork and track notes, DJ Cole did the cool 3D animated logo, and Gordon Price did the swish Dublin City FM ident logo (the radio station I'd record them in)! I got really lovely feedback about it, including Ben (the movie producer from Marine 6) who was kinda shocked i'd put that much effort into something you can't monetize (any ads go to the music rights holders). I hope ye enjoy it too :D I'm working with Chris on level 5 now!  2019's SUPER OSW 64 VIDEOS:Super OSW 64 Level 1 Incl Zelda, Red Dead & Bioshock Infinite!Super OSW 64 Level 2 Incl.
