OSW Update! (September) (Patreon)

Well hellooooooooooo! And welcome to the OSW September update! Last time I was telling ye about we'd TEN videos in production, and some of them are out now! Here's what's going down in Groovestown:

Latest OSW episode: OSW 110 WWE Girls Gone WildThis was such a jolt being thrust back into the 2003 Ruthless Aggression (ie desperate WWE) mindset! Researching for the video it turned out to be way more fascinating, hence there's retrospectives before and after the PPV itself! I'm pretty happy still being able to get over an hour of the vid onto YouTube ( https://youtu.be/mRspQnAjrCQ ), and you can see the full watchalong here :) https://www.patreon.com/posts/71121015 Audio of this full watchalong should be appearing on the feed in the next few days (if u don't wanna watch-along!)

Latest videogame Deep Dive: Resident Evil 8 Village Oh man, our The Last Guardian, or...Duke Nukem Forever! The white whale in development... is out! We recorded this initially over a YEAR ago, and have been working on it in the background between regular OSW episodes. Getting stuff like the animated RE1-like intro (by the wonderful Mr. Nies!) and the storybook Lady D animation (by the v talented Donald Kirby and Ruben Rodriguez!) were highlights, and our main man Chris did a phenomenal job editing the bulk of the segments. You know the Puppet Resi songs? The subtitles and translation are custom! They were added in by SoberDwarf! With the DLC coming just before Halloween I thought it'd be the perfect time to get ya hyped. Hope you enjoyed it, as i type this it's juuuuuuust about to surpass TLOU2 in our most-viewed videogame vid :)Watch OSW x Resi 8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cAUCZWsE2Eg (playlist that contains our TLOU2 deep dive)

^ Depending on how great the DLC is, we might do a follow-up video! I decided to released the Deep Dive as a standalone to get ya hyped for it, and also some chat doesn't get outdated too quickly, lol. Latest Hotdogging on Someone Else's Show: PREY (2022) with Matt McMusclesAh man, good times! Matt asked us to come back for round 2 (or Round 5, if that makes sense) to follow up our Predator 1-4 reviews with #5, PREY! Was real cool getting to work with him again; I'm on to him so often i forget we haven't actually done that many vids together! I finalised the audio and then Matt oversaw the complete video production! Real happy with how it turned out, he even got artwork done in the style of the movie end credits :D How long does it take Jay to start Hotdogging? Watch PREY and find out! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5d9DI0ORpWk&list=PLKjsTHExZ2Sl9FwlGwA9JKRMbEOghs53K&index=3

Next OSW: #111 AEW All Out 2022Oh man, it's a doozy! It'll be OVER 2.5 HOURS! I just finished editing the audio and now video production is underway. V1's already been grabbing splicey and there's artwork being made. It's all very exciting. The PPV itself is 90ms, then ~35m on the Scrum & Dynamite. We're basically squeezing a year-in-review of AEW + pre-show + PPV review + Scrum + dynamite into one big video! Gonna be emotionallllll!

Next videogame Deep Dive: Metroid Dread!Oh man, as seen by Paul Helman (game dev for Horace!) the next DD is V1's favourite franchise. One of the coolest things was getting to ask V1 what he thinks of the entire franchise and he goes through 'em before we kick off. The whole thing is about ~1h35, and I'm looking to release it early October! I got to work with Josh of the Geek Critique (who does AMAZING Metroid retrospective videos) on editing this, I'm so happy how it's turning out. Check out that crazy pixel animation hype video here: https://youtu.be/cAUCZWsE2Eg?t=8140

Next Someone Else Hotdogs on our Show! I rectify not doing that many vids with Matt McMuscles! This time he's on our show, choosing his NoggerU film review! I'll keep it a secret for now but man it's a f**kin' banger! He slots in so comfortably with us, like listening back I forgot he's not regular crew! Such a talented guy and lovely dude as well. I'll be working on finalising this after Metroid is out the door!

Other stuff in the works:• Fun standalone animated video with McKodem and Banyabat about the XFL• God of War Deep Dive sneak peek: https://www.patreon.com/posts/71311123• 2 NoggerU film reviews, Spiceworld and Kung Fu Hustle are coming along pretty great! Spiceworld man, awesome bang of 90s nostalgia off it!• Quote of the Year Winner Mr. OOC gets two choices! He picked Hobbit 2 as his first choice -some incredible bits in that!- next time we'll be recording a PPV of his choice! Who knows, probably something with Teddy Hart and his cats• More vids I don't wanna reveal yet!

So! TL/DR:• ~3 weeks ago: OSW 110 Girls Gone Wild• 10 days ago: OSW Deep Dive Resident Evil• This week: OSW x Matt McMuscles review Prey• Early Oct: OSW Deep Dive Metroid Dread (hype here!)• A few weeks after that: OSW 111 AEW All Out 2022 (hopefully!)

Can't wait for you to see all the stuff we're cooking up! Man coming back to AEW when shit hits the fan is hilarious. It's such good shit, pal!Alrighty back ta slavin'! Any Qs hit me up below. See ya in the funny pages :)Love, Jay 💚
