Yo! Just a quickie update but a biggun, the first episode of the new arc was recorded and audio editing is nearly finished!

I've been keeping tight-lipped about it as we recorded an announcement bit as well, but would like to keep it under wraps until editing is closer to being done. (so there's not a huge gap between reveal and first part, ya dig?)

BUT

Here's a little axcloosiv, the new intro track just completed by our brah Mono Memory! Can you guess what videogame song is melded with Acceptable in the 80s?

Andrew Way

🤞🤞🤞 for some WWE bollocks

Carl Sciacchitano

Kind of reminds me of the Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake intro theme

Shane Herbert

Sounds like maybe Facility from Goldeneye, but I don't know for sure.

James Carlson

Invasion, Immortal or Attitude Era, fingers crossed! Any hints?

LadderCoins

Wild guess, but parts of it sounded like motifs from the GTA IV theme

Josh Thompson

Is that "The Soviet Connection" from GTA IV?

Mr. Fretz

Goldeneye, 1997....it's Bret vs USA isnt it?

Matt Ross

I'm getting GTA IV vibes

Keaton Sellen

Sounds like if OSW mixed GTA 4 with N64 hardware, gonna call my shot and say we're getting 1991 WCW

Chris Gannon

Corporate ministry? Oh son of a bitch.

Nick Horacek

That has to be from Goldeneye

Garrett Kenney

That's that GTA IV loading screen song. So that tells me this upcoming arc is going to have to do with Russians.

Lennon Riley

it makes zero sense given the song but I'm hoping this is somehow the intro to a Hogan-era TNA Arc

Bryan David

this is 100% a nod to GTA4's theme song... I have it as my ringtone LOL

Terry

I'm getting Robotron vibes

Tom Harrison

Do you want to go bowling, Roman?

Mr. Bleh

Please let it be JBL’s 2004 WWE CHAMPION run 😁

Kenn=win

Are you doing all the Grand Theft Autos 😂😂

Sean McGivern

I’m getting Soviet Connection GTA 4 vibes

JohnYardDog

I couldn't tell if it was Goldeneye or GTA IV vibes, so I thought I'd check the comments for the answer and now I feel like I've used a 50/50 on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire after saying out loud which two I thought it might be.

OSWreview

It's really cool to hear ye guys try to decode what's coming from the theme tune. Reminds me of Bojack Horseman for the Dungeon of Doom arc a bit!

Tony Johnson

James bond or GTA IV vibes from this.

Joriss

Also getting a GTA IV vibe here… so… TNA Main Event Maffia?!

Liam

I have no idea what it is but I'll comment that I'm happy to be here and to be involved. Please be Bret's 1997 run as doubtful as it is haha

Antoinne Baker

It’s the rise and fall of Ludvig Borga isn’t it??

Kevin Ross

Invasion pretty please? I don't know how it would go to GTA 4 but the boys will find a way if it is the Invasion to tie it all together. So excited to see what the new story arc is! Cheers lads!

Jody Vyrostek

At first I got a bit of Final Fight or Streets of Rage, but then it kept going and I wasn't so sure. The GTA IV folks probably have it here. But whatever it is, I'm like Kevin Nash hanging off the side of a garbage truck at 2 am in Cedar Rapids, Iowa: "I'm digging it the most!"

Jayde Alexander

Sounds like GTA IV so 2008 Main Event Mafia TNA? Could also been the mission impossible n64 game so 1998 fed?

Paul Rapley

You haven't given TNA any love lately, so the main event Mafia or Aces and 8's

Mr. Samuel Scratch

I should have put this in the suggestions, but instead I'll just hope: Sting's "run" up to Starcade '97. If nothing else, I'd love to hear all the theories on the fast count that wasn't. (I personally like Kevin Nash's explanation: "Nick Patrick was an old-school southern ref, that WAS his version of a fast-count.")

Daniel grover

Honesty, until I read the comments that said "GTA IV", I thought it was more Metal Gear-centric, but now...yeah, I'm thinking it's Main Event Mafia, you said earlier you wanted to do MEM after Booker T gave you a shout-out and the timeline is right. But enough about that. Do you want to go bowling?

Please be 1997 WWF! Please be 1997 WWF! Please be 1997 WWF!
