OSW Update - NEW EPISODE THIS SUNDAY!! (Patreon)

Well hellooooo!Hope you're doing well and it's an easy day for ya. Here's what's going down in Groovestown 🙂

OSW Hard Ticket To Hawaii is lliiiiive on YouTube!Super happy with it and thank u so much for the wonderful reception! I loved recording it with the guys. It was an insane film so it was real high energy smashing through it. I remember after editing the audio i was so pumped about it I told Matt "this is so good i can threaten OOC with it" :DNote about YouTube editing: YT are very stringent (like most of our film reviews are age-restricted, which means u have to GIVE YOUR PASSPORT OR CREDIT CARD TO GOOGLE to view it?!! 🤬) so I had to be a bit more careful with this one, hated cutting out the frisbee death. Buuuut I did include it in this tweet and gif'd below! I should ask, does anyone want an uncensored version of Hard Ticket? it'd be just for ye here on NU so I could leave everything in!

OSW x Matt McMuscles Hard Ticket To Hawaii! https://youtu.be/vzuZfL4qPcs 🌴This was the first time in a very long time that someone else helmed the video production: I did the audio and V1 grabbed the splicey, but it was Matt directing Jesse Guarascia, who did the editor's pass! It was a v tight edit but you might notice bits that don't feel as much 'osw', like pausing the vid to put white text to emphasise what's said in arial font. Jesse did an excellent job, I didn't wanna bulldoze all of it so the final video is a hybrid. 🐍

White text on screen, and my favourite editor's addition to the vid ("...4 tits!")

Matt even commissioned artwork of us!! @DKirbyJ did the above final thumbnail artwork, and @DonWoka did caricatures of myself, V1 and Matt!

Top job Don! I love how V1 looks like Arn Anderson.Overall although it was a bit weird going from finalising the audio to having a first complete editor's pass, it did take a lot of mental load off and I am quite happy with how it ended up! Obvs I still did 4 video passes to get it feeling as 'OSW' as possible. Hopefully you didn't even notice :D How did it feel to you?Big News: Vegas iMPACT will be ready SUNDAY!We've been beavering away and we're now barreling towards the finish line! I've completed 2 video passes of it and is around 75m. Just gotta get and splice in some bits & bobs like videogame footage, the Vegas logo animation, sort music and do some QA passes before copyright clearance. It's so freaking cool, psyched for ye to watch it! Hey u wanna see the finished logo?

Artist Donald Kirby with another stormer! Not sure when it'll be public (depends when it's cleared on YouTube) but it'll be here on NoggerU next weekend! I'm hoping it'll be good to go public in time for Sunday May 7th, as the Friday (5th) is our 12th anniversary 🤯

12 years is freaking mental but at the same time it isn't, ya know? As I love doing OSW. It's the most selfish endeavor where i get to talk about my favourite thing (old wrestling) with my best friends. And thanks to you guys I get to hire animators, artists, musicians, editors, all people more talented than me to help bring it to life, so thank you! 💚

Next OSW after Vegas is "Steiner iMPACT" which is a lot of fun, it's great having OOC so plugged in and eagerly wanting to chat. Like he'll come to me asking when we can record more TNA again!! 😃

TL/DR:• 4 weeks ago: OSW115 TNA B4G• 2 weeks ago: OSW116 TNA iMPACT after• This past Sunday: Hard Ticket To Hawaii• This weekend: OSW117 Vegas iMPACT (NoggerU)• Next OSW after that: OSW118 Steiner iMPACT• Next OSW after that: OSW119 Turning Point PPV

Okeeday that does it for this update! Remember SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY for OSW Vegas, and see ya in the funny pages :D

love, jay 💚
