Stephen Chow films are the best. This and Shaolin Soccer are two of my favorite all-time films. And this poster art is killer 😆

I remember loving this when I first watched it and being embarrassed (I was an edgy late-teen, you see) by how much the string-playing assassins GENUINELY terrified me. In this wacky, madcap comedy. But it didn't feel atonal! What a great film!!

That poster's too damned good! Loved the review, loved the behind the scenes stuff and deep dive into the actors. This is for sure one of my all-time favorite movies, always a blast to look back at.

A. Gorilla

One of my favorite comedies of all time. A brilliant love letter to both classic Hong Kong martial arts films and Looney Tunes slapstick comedy. I never get tired of it!

Joseph Maurer

I’m surprised you missed how the ending was presented, when practically the notable subjects from Pig Sty are in the background from the Candy Shop, living out the opposite lives they’ve always wanted.

Marshall Lewis

Brahs! If I recall correctly the landlady and her husband are a comedy duo. They are in other Kung Fu movies namely some of my favorite Kung Fu mahjong and it's sequels. Highly recommend them and you will come away wanting to learn how to play mahjong!
