Retronauts Episode 206: Final Fantasy VII (Pt. 1) (Patreon)

Just in time for the upcoming release of the game on non-Sony consoles for the first time, the usual Final Fantasy deep-dive crew (myself, Bob, Kohler, and Kat) dives deep into the biggest Final Fantasy of all. Yep, the seventh one. We went into this one knowing that there was no way for us to cover all our bases in a single episode, so what you have here is the first of two episodes on the game. The second part will actually be along later this month so that (1) you don't have to wait long to hear the rest or (2) you can get it out of the way sooner... depending on your view of the game. Anyway, I feel like we do justice to the topic here, but personally for me it's just us clearing the decks before we get to the really good stuff: Tactics and VIII. That's just me, though.

Speaking of Tactics, I'll be soliciting mailbag submissions on that one this week. Keep your eye on the Retronauts blog!—Jeremy
