A preview for this month's upcoming Patron story, featuring some Undertale mom changing! Enjoy!

So, the day had been a bust. There had been only two people who tried out the suntan lotion: a Fox and a Falco. However, they didn't take any of the necessary forms to fill out and rate their experience, nor did they want to fill out anything after it was done.

God, this sucks! Emiko lifted her glasses and rubbed her eyes of sweat for what felt like the hundredth time that day. No one's interested and now, I'm seeing crap!

She let her glasses slip back into placing, letting out a heavy huff. I develop and create half of their damn products. I don't need to keep doing all the testing, research, and even marketing too! There's other people in the lab I work with. They could be doing this as well!

Uuuugh! I really need to talk to the bigwigs about…

The bottle jiggled. She jerked backwards, nearly jumping too. It kept on shaking, not stopping this time. She definitely was not imagining that after all!

Why is that bottle shaking? Her scientifically-curious mind kicked in, drawing her near, if slowly and cautiously so. She stared at the bottle, studying it as it vibrated and slowly grew silent again in that hot, sunny… Wait!

It clicked! It was quite obvious in hindsight! The bottle itself was standing out in the sun. All of the suntan lotion containers were sitting on a large table, the majority of which were cloaked and shaded by her tarp. Only it and two other bottles, which thankfully haven't shook or rattled, were sitting in direct sunlight.

Emiko grabbed the non-shaking, warm bottles first, pulling them into the shade. Gotta talk to R&D when I get back. This stuff should not be freaking out when it's exposed to heat! It's suntan lotion, for crying out loud!

The situation reminded her of a particular incident a while back at a gaming convention. The Toona Can merch being displayed ended up exploding and spraying thick, black ink all over a lady after it too started wigging out. The reasons were clearly different, but it was still a grim warning that this could also be a potential hazard waiting to happen.

Okay… Emiko reached and grabbed the currently-still bottle, slowly lifting and bringing it in. Gonna shove you in a box and lock you up. You're not exploding on-

She never got to the finish that thought. Just as she lifted it over the table to its other side, it rumbled again. It shook so much so suddenly that it took her by complete surprise. In a split second, her grip loosen, and it dropped.

It hit the table with a heavy thud, facing her head on. The bottle's cap throbbed, its material-looking like it was made out of latex rather than hard plastic. It ended up bursting open, shattering, thankfully, into harmlessly little pieces that flew off in safe directions.

Unlucky for her, she got sprayed. Thick, goopy, white lotion billowed out of the bottle like a blazing geyser, striking her in the chest. It almost knocked the wind right out of her, the poor woman barely keeping on her feet.
