So, there were a number of issues, big and small, which were undiscovered. Hopefully I took care of all the remaining problems for this release. Anyway, this version fixes the following bugs:

Fixed some situations where rain would appear in the mountain near Golden Leaf;

Fixed balloon icon not disappearing over a miner, even when the related fetch quest is solved;

Fixed being unable to swim in a certain area of the mine;

Fixed being stuck to the couch after the scene with the futanari;

Fixed being unable to pick up the tent (only relevant if using old save file);

Fixed black screen at the end of the lord's party quest;

Fixed issue with rain inside the mansion if you look outside the window;

Fixed issue where the final cutscene in the mine quest wouldn't trigger;

Fixed gate guard's dialogue when the investigation is over;

Fixed cart animation in case you had fought already some/all of the tentacles in that area;

Have fun! ^_^

So I have a small question about the Zanti investigation thingy, thing is, if you have become... "friends" with Beatrice you can't take a job there so you can't do everything in the quest, a bit... frustrating, to say the least... is there a way around this so I can finish the quest and get the merchant pass?

mdqp

You can still complete the quest without working there. You know, the barn's windows aren't too far high... ;p Also, you can just buy a merchant pass at the imperial office in Tarkas.

Lunaraia

neat found out how to solve it, thanks, on another note I am at a loss here I have gathered every spell I can think of and I still can't get the final spell I need to get Valentine to accept me, could I get a pointer on what da heck to do? I am completely lost right now

mdqp

Get the gemstone from the first temple, and then carry it with you in 2nd temple. After you get the fish TF, get back on the floor with the mermaid, pull the lever again (raising the water again), and use your transformation to swim in the water. You'll find a new opening you can enter. There you can get a new spell (it's tied to the gemstone, which becomes a wearable item). I do have plans to add more spells to the list of possible solutions, but so far this is all I prepared.

Lunaraia

Thanks that was driving me nuts, -^_^-

Sorry to report a bug immediately after a hotfix. After I purchased Jin, working in Tarkas at night is treated as an event in Rahib, and I am forced to stay in the Rahib Inn or sleep on the streets instead of in my house.

mdqp

Let's see... What did you do before that? Maybe you did something at the castle, and then it got to nighttime and were escorted to Tarkas (and you were previously to Rahib)? That's one thing I might have forgotten to handle when I created the new system.

Polar_Bear

I had something similar happen. I had been going a little bit of everywhere, and when I did the bar job in Tarkas at night, it asked if I wanted to sleep on the street. I said fine and ended up in Rahib as well. Also, a general one I found, if you approach the Madam in the nightclub from the top after you've been hypnotized by her boobs enough (where she starts just talking about you as her pet), the game won't know what to do, as she pushes you towards the bottom of the screen, but she's in the way, so it all just locks up.

Polar_Bear

Ok... I give up. Where do you find that new spell for the Noble quest, and what flowers are the right ones? There's been tons of stuff unlocked for the Noble path, and I can't seem to get to any of it. So it's getting old to see "New Content Added!... ... behind that one quest that you've not figured out yet!"

Lunaraia

mdgp gave the location of the spell in an earlier comment on this very area, just load up the earlier comments to find it, as for the flowers, there is a botanist in Tarkus, try to express the fact that you need help and hope t be her friend (it's the combination of flowers speaking of need and friendship can't remember their exact colors)

Polar_Bear

Well... isn't that fun? Now Patreon is fucking up. I try and hit "Load More Comments" and nothing happens. Well done, Patreon.

Polar_Bear

Wait, nevermind. I found it. I was going up to the top to Load more comments, and not on the individual threads. Stupid button.

Polar_Bear

Ok, so, let's see: there's the chess game, the tittyjob, the smuggler thing for the Emperor, calling the one dude out on being a perv, the spell, and the flowers. Are there any others I'm missing?

mdqp

There is a bug with the king's quest, which makes it so that you don't get his vote in this version. You just need 5 votes, though, so that's enough already. You can get more votes for things you can accomplish before the first meeting with the council (the general and the wiseman aren't reachable during the quest, but if you did the alchemy quest and successfully escaped from the outcasts, you can get their votes as well, making things easier).

Polar_Bear

Well, I hope I don't have to be wearing the thing, since I've got Marinta's Charm on. I guess we'll see.

mdqp

Do you remember how you got to Tarkas? Maybe by cart or during a quest? I'll fix the bug with Sonya ASAP, it should be easy.

mdqp

You don't need to wear it, just having it in your inventory should be enough.

Hotenhornay

I had multiple saves before and after purchasing Jin, and taking him home seems to be the only variable that results in this bug. This was all done in Chapter 1, and I had walked to Tarkas via the Cornelius Pass.

Ansem

Hey, not related to the Hotfix at all. But i'm wondering how you are meant to proceed with distracting the trainee-cow girl's mother? I've looked around and don't know how to advance in the quest?

UnboundWabbit

If I remember correctly you use the hand of fire spell on a candle near her.

Hartmanns Youkai

Something I had forgotten to try out previously... I went and did an event in the dock area of Solina and got sent on a delivery quest with 3 letters, but can't seem to deliver any of them. Is this unfinished for now, or am I having some kind of bug? I restarted fresh with this version, and am still in Act 1 if that helps things.

mdqp

This one should be independent of chapters (or anything else, for that matter). You should be able to put the letters in the mailboxes, instead of delivering them directly.

mdqp

That's correct, you can use the candle to make her scared.

mdqp

You are right! You get transported back to Tarkas, and I forgot to track the change! Thanks, this will make it very easy to fix.

Polar_Bear

When you try and get drunk in Gold Leaf, after a couple drinks, the screen just goes black. You can still move around and interact with people, but you just can't see anything. So, if you can manage to find the door, the map will reset and things will be fine. You just gotta find that door. When talking with your assistant in your mansion in Gold Leaf, you can ask her about fixing up the town's walls and streets. If you have the 5k, you can select this option. But the money never came out of my account, and many days later, nothing in the town has been fixed. But that option is now gone when you talk to your servant again. The quiet room on the 2nd floor, where you can relax, doesn't reset with the day. You can go and relax once, and gain 2 Will, but when you go back the next day, the option will be greyed out with "you can only relax once per day" as one of the two options, with the other being No. After you fix the mill, the old man in the shop in Gold Leaf will still complain about it being broken.

mdqp

Crap, I knew I had forgotten about something! I'll fix getting drunk in Golden Leaf. BTW, if you can open the menu, among the key items, you have a cheat in the shape of an hourglass. One of the options, allows you to fix any black screens. I put it there because it's actually easy to forget fading the screen back to normal, when a scene gets long enough (I should start just adding fading in and out before I write the entire scene -_-). I'll fix everything in the next hotfix (and I'll make the old man less senile, so that he notices the mill is fixed).

Hartmanns Youkai

Ah, that was it, thank you very much for the clarification. I probably missed the mailbox bit when he said to deliver the letters. As a side note, this activity doesn't show up in your Journal under quests, completed or not. Not sure if this is intended or not.

mdqp

You know, I'll have to double check if the text mentions the mailboxes or not, I hope I didn't word it in a misleading way. I didn't make a quest entry for this, because it's a pretty minor side event, and I felt it wasn't worth it.
