Weekly dev blog: Fuck the guards (literally)! (Patreon)

It hasn't been too long since the release, but I managed to get some work done. I added 3 scenes to the "guards' club" event (I really don't know how to name them), and prepared some of the basic mechanics for how to deliver them. I am still not sure if I want the drug part to be more important (like you becoming addicted, forcing you to go back there, and whether it should be more prominent in the scenes). Anyway, I figure this one should be wrapped with another 2-3 scenes at most. While I like the event, it's just a random encounter with faceless NPCs, so I don't think going too deep is a good idea (I'd just end up having a hard time adding similar scenes later on with more important characters, for example).

I did tweak some of the content already in the game (I am testing a way to change the outcast pendant into an item, so that we get back the equipment slot, for example), and fixed a couple of bugs as well (nothing major so far).

Like last time, if you have any suggestions for scenes that need CG, please do let me know. The list of scenes without any CG is long, so I'd like to hear people's thoughts on what the priority should be (it might help me pick the choices for the next poll).

My vote is always Super Bimbo for CG! And more scenes, like maybe getting purchased as a slave for her by her husband! (As someone who works in software, I am so sorry for suggesting feature creep)

Are there any plans for an extended Cultist of Rosa path, ie. spreading her worship? Or is this already in and I'm just bad at games?

Well, this is more about adding CGs to scenes that are already in the game, not writing new scenes (although I guess we might probably expand a little on all the customers, in the future). XD

I am thinking about it, but I am not sure I'd want to treat her as a faction, there are already a few and they need to be expanded. This is definitely not in the game for now, however.

On the drug part: I personaly prefer the suggestion part way more than the drug part itself. The how is more the bone and what happens is the actual meat.

I get what you mean, but I think the how sets the overall tone for the scenes, so it's worth thinking about it.

If I may suggest CGs, the ones I would like to see are for the bad ends and the model job. Could be interesting.

Any bad ends in particular that come to mind? I'll keep the model job in mind. ^_^

For now, there are not a lot of bad ends. If I remember correctly (correct me if I'm wrong), only the Zanti ones and Edith's. This last one doesn't have a CG. And frankly an Edith's pet CG, who does not want to see that? ^^

Actually, you might be right. I mean, there are a few scenes that kind of imply a bad end, but some aren't finished and need more work, they might even have gameplay added to them (becoming a slave to the orc, losing against the guy behind the noble kidnapping, losing during the slave contest by relying too much on external "help", to name a few). Edith should be a good candidate.

Oh wow a drug path now that's exciting! would the brothel have a little bit of drug usage? I mean working as a prostitute does lead to usage of drugs in real life

Other than these events I am working on, I'd like some drugs featured in Solin., I feel like having them in the brothel would end up quite dark pretty fast, so I am unsure if I want to add them there.

Well, the Magic Academy is in the game now, so it's just a matter of allowing you to join it, and giving it some structure so we can have her return. ^_^

CG for the currently repeating model job would be amazing I think. However also the events that keep popping up if you finish a branch, like if you let the ghost stay or if you get completely enslaved to be either a cow (selfmilking) or slave to uh the Mistress of the bunny club

I see. Those all sound like reasonable suggestions, actually. I think I shouldn't have problems putting together a list for the polls.
