Weekly dev blog: Coalitions Conflict (Patreon)

So, after the release (and the hotfixes) I decided to take a long weekend off. It's nice to stop completely for a couple of days in a row. I still did some bugfixing (I always try to deal with those as soon as a report hits, to avoid issues piling up), but no game-crippling issues so far, which means they might have to wait until the next update.


For this week's plan, I am going to work on a quest that will have you pick a side at the end, so we can get some interplay between the various factions (and yourself). I think I'll have the two guilds, and another 2-3 factions involved (the league of merchants, the Zanti family, and the vampires). If you are mind-controlled by any of the factions, you will of course be unable to pick anyone else to support. This quest will revolve around securing a certain artefact, and they all have their different reasons to want to secure it. So far, I did the first map and some basic work on the NPCs that will be involved in the quest.

I already know how I want it to end, but I am wondering how I should have the various factions appear/intereact during the quest (again, I have a few ideas, but it's about picking what works best for the situation). It should be interesting for sure, especially how some choices and consequences will play out. My only worry is how big of a map I'll need for the main area, since too many factions would need representatives as well. But that's for me to worry about, not you guys. XD

In case I forgot to mention it, the poll results had me commission art for becoming Sonya's pet (I picked the first scene on the "throne", which I think is very appropriate for this), and I'll also commission something for the model job, so congratulations to anyone who voted for these two.

Other content I'll work on for the next month is Kira (adding more dates with her, and possibly another quest for the league), and if I involve the vampires in the first quest, I might also expand on them (I already have some plans for them). Then it's a matter of figuring out how much time I have left, I assume another quest or more scenes for one of the unfinished jobs might be on the table, depending on how tight my timetable is.

In my opinion this game is one of the best adult games. The story the protagonist, and the environment is very very good. Although I think it could be more exciting if you put more tattoo, and piercing in the game (in the tattoo shop), as the gamers can more customize the protagonist with that assets.

Thank you! ^_^ Some extra customization options could be nice, I'll see what I can think of. It's not a huge priority, because there is already a decent amount of options, but a few extra tattoos shouldn't be too much work. Any suggestions for what kind of piercings/tattoos you'd like to see?

Thanks for the kind words. :) It's just me on the team, unless we count the artist who takes care of the drawings, in which case it's just 2 people. Of course there are music, sounds, scripts and graphical assets I either found for free or bought, but design, writing and coding is pretty much just me. If we count the testers, we get 3 more people who help me whenever they can, and I have a handful of maps and 2 scenes which some people volunteered, but that's really all I can think of that I didn't work on directly.

Some breast or nipple tattoos. Maybe a tittle around a nipple such as „sex slave”, or a thorn chain. Some new pelvic tattoo, and tramp stamp some kind of flower or butterfly could be so good. I think a tongue and pussy piercing, or pussy rings and some pussy tattoo (maybe an other butterfly) could be very exciting as well. I see there is no pussy piercing, or tattoo now, I don’t know how many work to do this. Maybe if you put a new picture with her pussy (not in the whole body picture) at the personal info page to see that tattoo, and piercing, could be easier? Some new shoulder tattoos, and nipple piercings could be good also :)

The easiest ones to add are probably new shoulder tattoos and nipple piercings, while the hardest are the tramp stamps (since her booty changes size and shape, they need to be edited to fit all the possible forms) and the nipple/breast tattoos (they'd likely need different versions for each size as well). I guess I could use a pussy close-up to show piercings below, which isn't too difficult to do (it would just require a new drawing, or me recycling the one I use for some of the scenes where she flashes her panties). I'll have to see next time I add a new outfit or something else for the bust, if I can ask the artist for some more stuff for tattoos and piercings as well.

I encountered a bug in 0.83b where you can fight the two Bandits in the new quest at the fire repeatedly after throwing the one down the cliff if you speak to them from behind.

Thanks for the report. Since it's not game-breaking, I might wait until the next release to go live with it, but I fixed it already. :)

Hey im having a bit of an issue. I have no idea where to go after the Merchant gets his stuff stolen in the second escort quest? Also how exactly does the player get pregnant and is there a notification? Thanks!

At that point in the quest, you need to find some traces of the criminals, and you can do that by using detect magic. Pregnancy is still in the testing period at the moment (I had much simpler plans originally, but some people weren't happy with it, so I decided to do something more complex), so it's very limited in scope. You can only get pregnant if you have sex with the baker (you can start a relationship with him by working there enough times). You also need to have prayed at Santhora's temple to enable pregnancies.
