Hey guys, this wasn't exactly planned at first, but when I showed you the previous drawing, I also showed it around to a few other people, to see what they thought of it. I also showed it to Stan (my current artist) and after talking for a while, I asked him to try his hand at it and see if he could make something in a similar style. This is the final result (for a "physical" version of ALICE from TOTDC). Do you guys think this could be a good fit? Do you have an obvious favourite between this drawing and the previous one?

I'd like to keep working with Stan, and that might affect my judgement, so I'd like to hear from you. I'd probably have to pick between him and the other artist group for TOTDC 2, so I want to make sure I choose the best.

I also understand there is a personal preference to this kind of stuff, so I hope there are no hard feelings no matter which one I pick in the end. If there is a clear cut overwhelming preference for one or the other, then it's simpler, but I'll probably have to rely on my own thoughts otherwise.

Both look good, but I think I prefer the Malena one.

Yshomatsu

You don’t have to pick one over the other. They’re both good and look similar. You could have a set of characters that each artist does

Alako

I really don't see a huge difference in style, I guess down to who you prefer to working with. Frankly, I think the strength of your games are the writing, maybe you don't have to worry too much about the art.

John Hall

I like them both. The picture of Alice in her nightie is super hot.

Jack Russell

Both art styles look good to me. I'd be happy with either one.

John Smithe

I vastly prefer the previous one. This one looks kind of odd, while the other kind unique and interesting. But it's up to you if course.

Madking2

The other one had a better(aggressively sexy) pose, more unique hair, and a really sexy face. This one is fine, get's the job done, but the other one has that something extra that would keep me interested even if I didn't like the story much, trying to unlock all the art.

Vysirez

I think they are both great. I like this one a bit better, but only a small amount.

Ken

They are both very good but I prefer the other one - the face doesn't look quite right in this one.

Mike Sanderson

I like both. I think either would work. :)

PR

I like this one more

knownsqashed

I like both for different reasons.

Keifru

I kind of like this one better, it feels a bit more...solid? I'm hardly good at articulating artistic opinion =V

Pharum

I like both but if I had to choose I would pick the Malena drawing. However already having a rapport with Stan is a big plus too. Either would work as long as the style remains so similar.

Cereburn

This doesn't look corrupt enough to be Alice to me. Style wise, I like the picture, I just don't think it makes a good match for a corrupt Alice from the first game.

Moofah

First one is my preference. This is solid, but yeah, preference is other.

Narf

I would call this one Jane

dasno

i like everything you put up here art wise, but what really matters is that it makes you happy both with who you work with and the representation of totdc 2 cause no matter what its gonna be amazing as long as you make it.

Mistafu

Actually i like this one more than the last but the last model fit the protagonist of totdc better i guess. Either way im down for whatever as along as i can play the sequel to one of the best games out there.

legraf

Wow, such a choice - both excellent in their way, but I do prefer the first by a small margin. Though really, both are lovely. It's probably best to go with the devil you know, if you have a good working relationship.

Fulgrim

I like this better, it seems more "solid" if that makes any sense? Closer to the real life pictures of TOTDC 1 in my books
