HOW TO PRACTISE & MOVE THROUGH THIS COURSE

TLDR version:

Practice slowly with guitar pro.

If you can play along with the video from start to finish with fewer than three mistakes, you're ready for the next lesson.

Complete all lessons in order, however, If you're overwhelmed or short on time, focus on the "⭐ WEEKLY PRIORITY"

Here's the practice system I recommend for every lesson:

Watch the lesson and listen to the example performance.

Open the Guitar Pro file and learn the song one bar at a time. Go as slowly as you need. (PDF available for those without guitar pro).

Practise the lesson every day until you can comfortably play along with the MP4 at full speed.

Film yourself playing the piece. Watching yourself back is one of the fastest ways to spot things you'd otherwise miss.

Move on only when you're ready (when you can play with the mp4). Note: This isn't a race. Some lessons might take a day, others might take four weeks. That's completely normal.

Each week you'll unlock a beginner arrangement. Feel free to learn these alongside the lessons to apply your new techniques in real music.

Remember: You're not trying to keep up with the course. You're trying to build skills that last for life.

⭐ WEEKLY PRIORITY

Feeling overwhelmed or stuck? Work through everything in order, but if you’re short on time, or overwhelmed, focus on the ⭐ Weekly Priority.

Each week, I’ve marked one lesson with a ⭐ as your Weekly Priority.

Work through all lessons in order, but use the ⭐ lesson as your weekly checkpoint. It represents the main skill or musical goal you're working towards that week.

If you're struggling with the ⭐ lesson, go back and spend more time on the exercises and lessons that prepare you for it.

Bonus lessons are completely optional. They're there for extra practice, troubleshooting or going deeper if you need it.

If you're ever feeling overwhelmed or short on time, keep it simple: work towards the ⭐.
