"Are you throwing up?" No... "Go to school." Fond memories of middle school lol

That Bark Brick represents one of the things I love about this comic: it manages to find the best balance between the characters being "human" and being animals. It's not like Kevin and Kell where the animal angle is the entire focus of the story nor is it like Misty the Mouse where the animal angle is just visual set dressing, the characters are animals and they take care of animal concerns but it doesn't need to be the focus of the comic. Other examples I like are: Vikky needing a "tail sock" for winter weather, Sarah putting a curler in her tail when she sleeps, and Ronnie, Alice and other background characters styling their ears as hair while headfur is still a thing for other people. I admit the whole "hooves can work as hands things" takes a bit more of suspension of disbelief to accept but it's a minor thing in such a well established world. As to the comic itself, I'm guessing that Diana is actually sick and this will come back into play later and I know exactly how their mom feels, I've had systems fail on me and have to spend ages on the phone trying to get things fixed.

That was basically like my mom when I was in school "You throwing up? No? Then get out of bed"...... oh wait she was worse, I threw up three times one morning and she still sent me, luckily that was all of it, think I have some kind of morning sickness.
