Next Short Story: Godmother's Apprentice (Patreon)

Remember when I said this month's Short Story would be a project preview?

One of my art goals this year is to apply for the Creators for Creators grant. The grant is for funding a graphic novel project, so I'm pitching a story I've wanted to draw for awhile - about a young man who can't use magic, building a career in a magic-obsessed world. The deadline for the grant next month, so I will be taking a break from FE while making the final pages to submit. But, I'll be sharing an exclusive preview of the pages' progress here, along with character sketches and story inspirations! (And I'll post Comic Detours on the FE site, as well ~ )

 For those new to Short Stories, they're a reward exclusively for patrons.  Those who pledge any amount during February will get access to all of this project's previews, and a digital copy of them after the application is completed. Those who pledge  $15+ will have a printed ashcan copy of this preview shipped out to them.
